The next day, no one had an appointment,(we told anyone who called that we were busy with a really big case) and the library was closed for renovations, so we had the day off. Lockwood and George were reading comics, and I was staring out the window,watching the snow fall softly to the ground."Five days until Christmas," I sigh."I wish it was Christmas eve already!"
"Me too!"says George as he turns the page if his book.
"Same here,"answers Lockwood.
I look over at Lockwood. My boyfriend. The words still seemed weird, yet oddly satisfying.
"Anthony."
"Yeah?"
"Should we tell him?"
George looks over, his eyes alert.
"Tell me what?"
Lockwood nods at me, and I explain to George.
"Well, Lockwood and I are dating."
"Finally!"
"Wait, what?"
"It was obvious you both liked each other the minute you met!"
"It was?"
"Yes!"
"Oh."
We laugh ,and return to our previous acts of entertainment. After an hour, I notice a car stop in front of our house, and see someone get out.
"We have company."
Lockwood and George hop up and we all go to the front door to greet our guest. A moment later the doorbell rings. I cautiously open the door, and gasp at who I see standing before me.
