felix stretched his arms out and hooked his right arm over his left and glanced around. the swimming complex was almost empty, "i guess people don't swim on weekdays in this world."

felix shrugged and changed his arm's position. Its been a while since he swam, back in hell, he would always swim with jungkook and his friends at the pool if any one of them were having a hard time. last time, when one of his friends, taehyung, failed his entrance exam for his school of hell, jungkook practically dragged them into the pool.

"it takes my mind off things in the water. because if no one accepts you, the waters always here. they'll never leave," he had said while floating on his back. they all had different styles of dealing with stress in the water.

Taehyung likes to swim slow, relaxed breaststrokes and trapping water.

he himself, he likes to go fast. butterfly, freestyle, or anything he just likes speed. But for Jungkook...hes just in his own world. he floats around like a dead corpse in the pool, sometimes it scared them how still he was despite his face facing underwater.

He stepped on the edge of the plank and stared into the blue depths. its walls rebounded its waves so gracefully, he got too immersed in it. the smell of chlorine filled his nostrills, he breathed in and closed his eyes.

"do you swim alot?" someone spoke from beside him. felix snapped his head to turn at the voice, hearing the surface creak as he stepped on the plank. the boy had long tights on, his chest was well formed, the red could tell he was a swimmer.

he shook his head,"not really..." he trailed off. He was good while racing with Jungkook and taehyung but with an actual swimmer? nah, he's too slow.

The boy chuckled as he puts on his goggles. He turned to look at the red headed, "great, I'll go easy on you." he placed his left foot at the tilted side and grabbed the edge of the plank. he turn to felix, waiting for him to get into position.

felix felt himself grin at the boy, he pulled his goggles down and bent to the exact position the latter was in.

he turned to water and stared into them, "don't bother," he faced the brunnette, "i like a challenge."

The brunnette laughed and counted down.

"GO!"

they both launch off their pads and dived into the water. felix watched from the corner of his eye how fast the latter kicked his feet and how fast he glides through the water.

he raised his hands and cupped them, slicing through the water and pushing him forward. his feet kicked as fast as he could, he felt himself catching up to him. the water against his body as if a bird soaring through the sky, the air fluttering its feathers.

felix glanced at the boy next to him as he raised his chest abov ethe water for air, his heart racing, he watched as the latter sped up his speed even more after pushing off the wall for the last stretch.

the brunnette's hair blocked his vision of the wall infront of him but he shoved it aside. this was nothing for the boy, he's been in way harder competitions before. he thought that maybe challenging a non-swimmer would let him relax while swimming but I guess he was wrong.
