hyunjin smiles through a yawn as he approached the younger at the kitchen. he flung his arms around his shoulder and rested his chin close to the younger's neck and mumbled, "it feels good to wake up to breakfast." felix chuckled and glanced at the clingy male. he learnt that he was always clingy in the morning but when it's later in the day, it's impossible for you to try to hug him again.

it's like his protective shield recovered after a few hours and felix found it even more tempting to annoy the older. but of course, he wouldn't do that. angry hyunjin is just a overly dramatic hyunjin.

the marigold's hair was slowly fading and he pouted at that. he tore a piece of the waffle infront of him, "those two were hitting it off yesterday." he looked to the picture on the wall as a distraction. felix turned for a bit and chuckled, "who? ji and kook?"

hyunjin shook his head and pointed his waffle piece at the younger with a confused look, "no, seungmin and minho." he chewed once more and swallowed, "bad enough that seungmin said he missed him like you told me and now minho suddenly shows up out of nowhere?"

he squinted his eyes, "seems kinda sus to me."

he shrugged and agreed, "yeah, to be honest I thought they would be awkward since it's been too long since they've last saw each other." he placed the hot waffle on another plate, "But I mean, things can occur. it might be a coincidence." he sat down at the table with the plate brought along with him.

felix started chewing on the waffle and poured some syrup over it. hyunjin watched as he chewed and spoke with his mouth still chewing,     "or he has listening powers. He could be listening to us this very moment. " his widened eyes glanced around the room as he squinted them suspiciously.

the red haired chuckled at the behaviour and laid his chin on his palm, eyes gazing at the older.

"awwh your lack of sense of the world is adorable sometimes," felix giggled. but he stopped when he saw the waffle piece drop from the older fingers. he glanced up confused and snickered at the sight infront of him.

The marigold had his cheeks painted in red, his limbs completely frozen in place and his eyes were as wide as saucers. his hair seemed to drop onto his eyes and he blinked it away. felix meant that as a insult and in a teasing manner but he felt somewhat proud to know that he made him flustered.

"hahaha, very funny, Lee." hyunjin changed his 'o' shaped lips into a smirk, "you actually thought you got me flustered?" he leaned forward closing the gap between the two males.

he glanced down to the younger's pink lips and back into his eyes, locking them together. he smiled, "that's cute of you."

The latter felt his hands grip the edge of the table and pushed himself away from the male, the chair screeching against the wooden floor. he took deep breaths away from he older, his cheeks blushed in a deep shade of pink. he touched them with his fingers, "w-w-what was tHAT ABOUT?!?"

hyunjin just laughed and clutched his stomach, "just so you know, I'm the better one at flirting."

Felix felt himself blush harder at the embarrassment and bit his lips down to contain the irritation bubbling inside him.

i am NOT a toy. is that all I am to you? someone to compete with?

the red's hands curled into fists and he gripped the fabric of his shorts tightly and forced out something to say, "I wasn't competing with you." hyunjin wiped his tears and glanced back at the younger, "what was that? i couldn't hear you I was too busy laughing."

"of course you were," felix rolled his eyes secretly and forced a smile, "nothing nothing. you got me there," he chuckled. but his smile dropped in an instant.

the raven haired boy twirled his phone in between his fingers as he sat down at the table all alone. his iced coffee covered in condensed water, he watched as the tissue he placed underneath it absorbed the droplets that slid off the surface.
