When the storm broke- rain pounding down in great sheets out of a black and unforgiving sky. Archie had to admit that he was quite surprised by the occasional sounds of thunder. "This feels like a disturbing sign, don't you think?" Douxie had to yell to make himself heard over the growing storm. "Don't be ridiculous. As far as I am feeling there's nothing to be frightened of for it is just a storm." Archie disapproves. For the past couple of months hiding away from the two Demigods, the familiar was quite laid-back for there was no sign of danger so far. "You've been quite paranoid over the past months. You should learn how to be at peace, occasionally, you might need it." He added. Douxie frowned at the suggestion. "Lucky for you, you only need to be in with a little action, while me I have to do all the work by all means of protecting us." He protested. As he sits down the couch he decided it be best not to argue for such meaningless conversation. He may not be a Trollhunter but he always follow one of its rules, 'Always be afraid' and anxious.

"I see that you are still quite uneasy, Master Hisirdoux." Nari walked towards the restless wizard. "The roots told me that there is no sign of the Arcane but otherwise tells me that they are searching, does that help?" She pleadingly asked, seeking for a little bit of approval. The wizard slightly tensed up for it made him much more alarm that even if the past months were surprisingly peaceful- that part will soon be over in an instant. He looked at Nari and smiled nervously. "Well at least we now know that we should always be alert." He turned his gaze to his familiar who is casually cleaning himself comfortably. The cat senses his intense gaze and shifted his attention to the boy. He rolled his eyes before agreeing. "Alright. I guess I should too be on guard in case danger gets any closer."

Douxie's phone alarmed, signaling that it was time for him to head out for work. Even if it was raining- finding a way to fill up their stomach was still a reason to go. Money doesn't pop out out of nowhere that easily, the same goes for miracles. "Well, I better get going. I'll be back at 6." Pulling on one of his coats and hat and tucking his feet under his black high-tops. "And Archie... You promised-" "That I will be on guard." He cut off. The boy nodded. "And Nari, you know what to do. If there's an emergency quickly call. No matter what the situation is and how far has it gone. We can never be too sure." His expression suddenly changes for his thoughts quickly wondered off to the possibilities. "Yes of course." The female Demigod smiled to reassure the fearful boy. He bid farewell and lock the door behind him.

Of course being the worrywart he is he couldn't possibly leave the apartment without casting a little spell. At the very least, he learned various spell that'll surely fastened their escape. I guess that's where your fea wander off when the world's safety is in your hands. He looks at his wrist as it response a glow. "This should help... somehow." Turning it towards right and pressing it down. A glow of light shined upon his hand, he quickly casted the spell barrier on the exact spot of their apartment room. 'Will this keep me from worrying too much?' He asked himself, not quite sure. He looked at his left hand then to the door, vice versa. "Just go already Douxie, geez! You already casted the spell. Go now or you'll be late for work!" Archie yelled. Much to the tone of his words, he was quite worried himself towards the boy that this might send the boy on edge. "Right. I'm off for good."

The bus was fairly late today. Seems like the storm is keeping all sorts of vehicle from driving too fast. The storm is pouring quite strong that the wizard's umbrella barely kept him dry. At last, as soon as he saw the bus and made it stop, he quickly hopped in nearly wanting to stay inside of it forever. Or at least until the heavy rain ends. He heaves a sigh and face palm himself. He doesn't know what part of him that disappoints him the most. At the very least he wants to calm himself down. Planning hastily is never a good thing, well that's what he learned from the past 900 years. He watched his surrounding as the bus ride slowly and smoothly. The Cafe the he works in takes 30 minutes to get there. But soon enough- as time flies by, he made almost in time. There were a few people inside who are preparing for the opening. He casually walks in and greeted his workmates.

"Good morning Cassy, Rico." He cheerfully greeted gaining quite the opposite of his enthusiasm. "Ugh. What's the purpose of good in morning when there's nothing really good about it." She complained but otherwise greeted back. He went straight to the kitchen and into the changing room to wear his attire. The typical uniforms of a Cafe. Wearing a cream colored long sleeves, folded just above his elbows and dark brown fitted trousers. Along side with its pale brown Flat Cap's and dark apron. He finishes dressing himself up just in time for another person to come in. "Ah! Good morning boss. Quite a heavy day, isn't it?" He awkwardly strikes a conversation. Though there's not much for him to be afraid of his boss, he was just trying to appeal on to anyone's good side as everyone seems a bit edgy on his current environment. Much like himself. But for a good save- Luis, his boss, slightly smiled at him. "Yeah, I guess it is. I do hope we still get a great sale despite the weather." Indeed. Douxie hoped so too. He planned to continue saving up money just in case of an emergency. Douxie looked at Luis empathetically.

His shift quickly passes by. One more hour before the clock strikes 6. Luis decided to close the shop and let everyone home early today. The weather doesn't seem to tell whether it's past till 7 or is it still at 5. Everyone finishes closing up the store and bid farewell. Douxie decided to stop by a convenience store to buy some snacks and quick heated meals. 'I guess this will do for today.' He quickly pays for his items and hurriedly catches the bus. As he was seated, he caught himself feeling uneasy. For a strong energy just resonated 5 meters away from him. He quickly checks his surrounding in case there's anything or anyone acting suspicious. But so for none. "Help me." A voice called through his head that made him jump from his sit. He awkwardly laughed at the passengers that were looking at him. "Find me." The last words that repeatedly rang through his head.
