After 2 days of heavy rain, the sun finally showed up. The city began it's chaotic atmosphere. Traffic seems to be the very first problem whenever the day is perfect- only to get ruined at the end. The trio decided to clean up the apartment before leaving. At the very least- if they somehow end up finding something- they wouldn't want to leave the place in disarray. "Don't you have anything else to wear?" Archie pointed to Douxie's outfit. "What? I have like 30 of these. Don't worry I'm pretty clean myself." He said. "But that's not- nevermind. We better get going." "But we haven't eaten breakfast yet." The boy complained. He suddenly rushed to the kitchen to prepare a quick to eat breakfast. Toast. "Really? If you're sincerely going to fill your stomach in the morning do it properly." The cat rolled his eyes. Honestly this boy can be smart at times. But sometimes... sometimes..!
Douxie awkwardly giggled and advance himself into making a much proper meal. Soon enough they're finish. "Nari, can you tell me, an additional information about this 'Goddess of Death' that you're quite afraid of." He requested. It seems that Nari was minding if whether revealing the truth was best for him or if someone else should do the latter. "She is the sole creator of all Magical beings as far as I know." She simply said. "So, was she the one who created you then?" He added. "Yes. But I vaguely remember the rest. I was with my siblings the second time I open my eyes."
"I am quite ecstatic of this new found adventure we have." The familiar whispered, only his companions could hear. They were of course in a public vehicle. The current world is unfamiliar with its hidden side. Any wrong move, it could end into a disaster. People tend to do bad things when they are terrified of new/undiscovered things. "After the coming of 1 year hiding, we finally get to venture out." He continued. The wizard role his eyes. "Keep your voice low, or else were screwed." He grumbled. "It is low you idiot." Nari completely blend in with the society, as the enchantment that Douxie have learned, worked perfectly fine. She looks just like any other ordinary mortal.
Soon enough they have arrived at their destination. "I felt it right here at this very bus stop." He pointed. "Hmmm. How far do you think the energy came from?" Archie asked. "I don't know." With only a few clues, the search was vague. They decided to walk and have a look around to see if there's anything beyond suspicious. Archie ended up being distracted for a moment. It was like an alluring feeling almost as if it's charm was held by magic. Intrigued as to what the feline is observing, looked at the same object. It was an electronic shop. A dozen of television displayed, viewing the same channel.
"Archie focus. We need to find clues." He nags. "Alright. I don't know what came over me." He cuts off his observation, but as soon as his attention focuses, the surrounding was at blank. "Ummm. I have a bad feeling about this." Douxie reassured. He position himself into combat mode. "Nari stay close. I think they've found us." The sorceress hid behind his back, Archie was protecting the other side. They have no chance of winning, but at the very least, try to fight back and make a run.
"Well, well... We finally found you, at last. If I were you, you should give up." Said by a gruff and an appealing voice. "You have no chance of winning." The two voice attacked from above making the three vulnerable. Luckily, the boy had manage to protect themselves. Douxie counter attacked as much as possible to give them time to escape. "Quickly run to a safe place. I'll stay here and then catch up." He says. The two nodded and made a run for it. Skrael of the North Winds, quickly followed them. Douxie immediately noticed it, casted a spell and pulled Skrael back next to Bellroc. "HA HA! I've changed from the past months." "And so are we." Bellroc casted a spell that will surely make a break of every mortal body. "Iíel v'us Faire!!!" A burst of fire magic was released.
Already? The boy was dumbfounded. Luckily Archie came back for him and pulled him up back to his consciousness. "Run, you idiot!" They run as fast as they could, making a quick turn. "Hurry! Follow me. We found a great place to hide." In order to cut any signs of them, the boy casted an invisible spell. "Invití!" The feline found the place where Nari is currently hiding. Archie pulled Douxie inside of the building. "T-That was close." He said in between his breaths. He looked around, it was quite an empty place. Empty by people, but full by materials. It was a library. "You sure this is a safe place?" He was hoping not to make a mess. It was a beautiful library. Its interior, it was well kept. It seems that the place is well repaired. The books are somewhat very old. But not too old for the leaves to easily tear.
Archie was now observing the place himself. He was too focused on the boy that he barely have any attention to the place in their first hiding. He was scared that he might lose him. "We must hurry. The roots have told me that they've started destroying every building." The Demigod notifies the two. She was quite agitated. She as well fear to lose her only hope on saving the world. A loud explosion can now be heard from a distance. It's getting nearer and nearer. Archie was panicking inside that his paw slips right between books on a shelf out of nervousness. Before they were hit by a force of magic, the place suddenly changed.
"W-What in the world just happened?" The boy freaked out. They were inside the same library but in a different scenario. The room has now people in it. Some of them have noticed their presence and have started to whisper amongst other. "Uhhh, we better go." They quickly went outside. To their surprise, the world they used to know have suddenly changed.
