A few months later...

Charlie's POV

The doctors have confirmed the cancer is now completley taken care of and has been for about 3 months, and I am cancer free! Carson has been there for me this whole journey and I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend

I'll be able to attend my grade 8 graduation. I'm going dress shopping today with my best friend Sarah and im not very excited. I would much rather not wear a sparkley dress but then again I'd rather not wear sweat pants and a baggy t shirt to my grade 8 graduation.

I walk into my closet and pick out a pair of black high waisted shorts and a white striped tank top. i combed my now boob length hair and walked down stairs with my phone in my hand. A knock comes from the front door and i go to answer. I twist the door knob and low and behold Sarah is at my front porch.

I welcome her in closing the door after her. "you ready for this?" she asks with a smirk "I can't say I am" I reply. We put our shoes on and hop into the car followed by my mom hopping in the front seat. I plug my phone in to the aux cord and play $ave dat money by lil dicky Fetty wap and rich homie quan and me and Sarah start jamming out in the back seats. We of course know every lyric and rap it all until we pull up into the mall parking lot.

Sarah and my mom pretty much dragged me into the store filled with dresses of every kind. I was handed dresses of any kind of colour style or brand you could think and was told to try them on. I ended up with 8 dresses that I semi agreed to try on and I narrowed it down to two. I was thinking between this light blue Sherri hill dress that has long sleeves in a white ish ivory kind of colour with a floral pattern or a red dress with a bejewelled waist.

Sarah and my mom were urging me to get the blue one but I had equal feelings for each. I ended up dropping the blue one and going with what my mum and Sarah said (picture of the dress^^)

Sarah bought a strapless pink dress with sparkles around the bust and it poofed out the way mine did.

I was also forced to buy a pair of white stilettos and Sarah bought a silver pair to match our dresses. ngl I think I'm pumped for grad (lol see what I did there pumped>stilettos? no?)

Our shopping day finally came to an end and we dropped Sarah off at home then drove back to our house where I was accompanied by Carson sitting on my couch in my living room.

"hey babe" he looked up at me with that cute smile of his.
"hey, what are you doing here?" I asked him returning the smile.
"well I came to find my beautiful girlfriend but she wasn't home so I waited and here we are" he explained pulling me into him to cuddle.

this boy has got me going insane.

shortly after that we pulled out a few horror movies and I drifted off into a peaceful sleep in his arms.

soooooo.... plz don't kill me. I know it's been a year since I've updated but here's a pretty good filler chapter. trust me I have gotten a lot better at writing and I apologize to everyone who read this book I promise it will start getting better and it won't be as terrible and I will be updating as often as possible but with competition coming up idk how that might be but I will try my best to update something every other day even if it's just a short chapter. thank you for sticking with me those of you who have, I love you all so so so so so much!! xoxo em
