slowly drifting (sequal of Grade 7 well now 7th Grade)

My mum drove us home and as soon as he heard the news she went completly silent and she hasnt said a word since.

My mum told my family the news and when Cam heard he rushed up and squeezed me as tight as possible. I hugged him back as he cried into my shoulder. I started reashiring him I would be fine and I wont let it kill me.
I went upstairs and got changed into some leggings and a different sweater. I grabbed my penny board and my earbuds and plugged them into my phone and put my playlist on and shuffled it. I walked down the stairs and told my mum where I was going and took off on my board to who knows where.
I looked at my surroundings and found my neighbourhoodpark across the street from where I was. I rode over and I grabbed my penny board. I walked over to the bench and just sat there drowned by my thoughts. It started getting dark so started riding home. I decided to tell Carson tomorrow because I'm still trying to let it sink in. so i went to bed

I woke up and I didn't have to throw up all of a sudden. I walked downstairs and made my self a pop tart. When it was done I placed them on a plate and took a bite but that didn't last for very long and my stomach flipped. I ran to the bathroom and well you can guess what happened.
My mom heard the commotion.
She rushed up the stairs and helped me until I finished. Now I think is when I should tell Carson...
