"yika, lets go, its boarding time." my dad said, carrying the few luggages.

i was going to seoul to study, since dad had to do work in seoul. he was going to open a new office for his fashion brand there, saying that he wanted to get into korea market. i mean it was doing well in china, but of course it meant more business opportunities.

i was gonna stay with my dad here, while mom stayed in china. my brother, joshua came with us, while my sister and brother stayed with my mother.

" people going to seoul, please enter the waiting area, we are soon gonna board the plane, thank you " the announcer said. i turned around to my mom, and my two other siblings who were staying here. " I guess this is goodbye... " I said, waving with a bittersweet smile.

" don't worry yika, we'll be visiting in a while, right before Christmas. " my mom said, petting my head. " goodbye guys!! " dad said as he pushed me and joshua with him into the waiting room. i waved to them through the glass, watching them as they walked away, a few tears springing to my eyes.

" hey uhm yika, you like singing, don't you? " my dad said, as he brought us to sit down. i nodded, feeling a little confused about his question. my dad took out his phone and searched for something.

"so uhm jyp is having auditions soon... and I was wondering if you would like to join it, I mean since I'll be working a lot and josh is going to boarding school for basketball. i thought why not you try auditioning... " he told me, showing me the online poster. for jyps audition.

"uhm sure.. won't hurt to try I guess, however I don't think-" her dad interrupted her, "okay its settled, the audition is next week!"

" oh? ok i guess i'l search for a song to sing to... " yika said, taking out her phone to search for songs..

" pa, i think i'll sing a chinese song... it'll be easier, if i was to make a mistake, they wouldnt know lol" yika chuckled, picking a g.e.m song.

" i'll sing away by g.e.m, i like that song... "

AUDITION D-DAY.

It was currently 1pm, yika and her dad was on the way to the JYP building, her dad looked over to her and said, " hey uh there's also an sm audition, do you wanna go for it later? since its close by, we just have to sign a form and then you can go in for it. "

" mm yeah sure, i wanna keep my options open, but i doubt i'l chose sm over jyp. " yika said,

they were right in front of the building, yika looked to her dad who showed her a smile of assurance, " lets get it yika "

she nodded and walked in, her dad stood outside waiting for her, maybe he would go to a cafe i guess.

" hi uh im here for the auditons, im li yika, " yika said to the receptionist.

" ah yes, follow me " the receptionist said, leading her to the rooms. " the judges are inside already, so if youre ready just head in " she smiled and walked away.

" now or never yika " she thought to herself. she opened the door and walked in.

and so she did her audition , in her opinion she probably aced it, but then again she missed a few parts and just sang random chinese words.

time for the sm audition. it went smoothly too, it al just depended on what both companies thought of her.
