Fated Together (Jennie x Mino)

Episode 36.

Time flew really fast. It's been 8 years already. I left Korea because I wanted to live like a human now. I flew to Germany and never went back.

Mother's company went bankrupt and she lives in an old house now. She has dementia now. I call her sometimes, when I long for her love.

Jisoo and Jinwoo are an official couple now, winner is still performing as a group but Taehyun has parted ways from them. He's performing as a solo. Mino broke up with Irene, after a few months. I saw the news. I am not in contact with him. They say time is the biggest healer, it has indeed healed my wounds. But I still kind of miss him sometimes. I listen to his songs whenever I miss him.

We were young and reckless back then, we didn't know what love was. We just wanted the life to go as we think. That's why we made mistakes. But this is the only way to become an adult. We fall down and get up, this is the process one must go through to become a tru adult. And I think I really need a long way to go to become an adult.

"Teacher! Can you please sing us that poem, baby shark in Korean?" Aisha says in her cute tone. Yes I am a kindergarten teacher now. I feel happy when I spend time with these angelic creatures, free of any greed.

"You wanna listen that?" I say in German. I spent two years to learn this language.

"Yes!" Children say in unison.

"But I have a sore throat today. I'll sing you tomorrow okay?" I say when I hear my phone ringing.

It's Jisoo. I pick up.

Yah! Kim Jennie where are you?

I am in school right now. I'll call you when I reach home. Okay?

Okay! I am waiting.

I hang up. The day passes and I grab my belongings to leave.

I get out where I see Lisa and Jisoo standing. I open my eyes wide.

"Surprise!" Both of them say and winner appear behind them with a cake. He is not here. I look around but he really didn't come.

"So how was our surprise?" Jisoo asks.

"It's amazing! I love you guys" I say.

"It's been a long time Jennie!" Hoony oppa says.

"Yeah oppa!"

I see Lisa clinging on Hoony's arm.

"Yah Lisa! What's with you?" I ask with surprise.

"Actually Jen! We are dating" she says with a shy smile.

"What!? Yah where's my Lisa? Where did you guys leave her? And who is she?" I say making everyone laugh.

All of us go to my place and have dinner together. All of them look so happy together.

"By the way, why are you guys suddenly here?" I ask while eating.

"We are here for this" Yoon oppa hands me a card.

"What is this?" I say opening the card.

"Yoon oppa is getting married" Jisoo says.

"Omo! Congratulations oppa. But who is the girl?"

"She is a solo artist in our agency, Park Chaeyoung" Jinwoo oppa tells me.

"You need to come, but before this, we have a concert here. You must come okay?" Yoon oppa hands me a ticket.

"But oppa I don't-" I say when Jinwoo oppa interrupts me.

"We know Jennie, but you need to face it at some point. There is no point in running from reality" Jinwoo oppa says politely.
