Fated Together (Jennie x Mino)

Episode 22.

I wake up in his embrace, the flashbacks from last night starts coming back and a grateful smile makes it's way on my face. 

I look back to see Jisoo's already gone. 

What time is it? I wonder.

Then again looking at his inhuman features I smile again. 

I take my finger to his forehead and start tracing his defined features in air.

From his broad forehead to his beautiful eyes, from his eyes to his sharp nose and then from his nose to his soft plum lips. When I reach his lips I recall the kiss that happened yesterday and a shy smile forms on my lips.

Just then he opens his eyes and gives me a smirk. 

"Want to do that again?" He says coming closer until our nose meet. 

I gulp in, in nervousness when the voice of whistle hits our ears. 

"Shit! We are doomed" I say and get up, wear my jacket and run outside. 

All students are already present there along with taeyang. 

"Why are you late?" Taeyang oppa comes to me and ask in his beautiful voice. 

"Sir I had a headache so I overslept" I make up a reasonable lie. 

"Is it serious? Do you need medicine?" He shows concern. How caring! 

"No it's okay. I am fine now after a good sleep" 

"That's good then. Okay everyone so today we are gonna play a game. Are you-" taeyang oppa announces when Mino cuts him off. 

"Good morning hyung!" He comes out of the tent yawning as if he's in his house. 

"We are not in yg building. I am not your hyung here. And why are you so late?" Taeyang scolds him. 

"I overslept. I am sorry" he shows his usual non serious attitude. 

"Be more responsible Mino! And the things you were doing at night, you shouldn't do that in open sky when you are on an educational trip" he says passing him a mischievous smirk. 

My cheeks turn into a hue of red. I am embarrassed to hell. Aishh I wanna die right now! 

"So let's talk about today's task. We are going to leave some living chickens in a specific room. Teams of two will make up and each team will have to catch those chicken, slaughter it, prepare seasoning for it and cook it. We will taste them and give you points. Remember! The chicken cooked by you will be your dinner, we won't provide you dinner today. And also romance is strictly prohibited on this field" he announces and students start groaning. 

I go to where Jisoo and Lisa are standing. 

"Did you sleep well?" Jisoo passes a smirk. 

"Why didn't you wake me up?" I whisper yell. 

"Because you guys were looking so cute sleeping in each other's embrace that I didn't want to wake you up" Jisoo whispers back. 

"Are you serious? You guys slept together?!" Lisa almost yells. I put my hand on her lips. 

"Are you crazy? Keep your volume low. Someone will listen." I whisper. 

"What's going on?" Lisa whispers. 

"Actually he proposed me yesterday" I whisper and feel my cheeks burning. 

"What???!!! He proposed you?" Jisoo and Lisa shout in unison. Everyone looks in our direction. 

"Are you guys crazy? I am not telling you anymore"  

"Okay we're sorry. Now tell us what happened?" Both of them become curious. 

"I-" I was about to say when taeyang oppa calls us to gather around. 

We all gather up in a circle and Mino comes to stand beside me. 

Taeyang oppa starts briefing about today's task. Mino quietly holds my hand in his. I immediately pull off. 

"Are you crazy?" I whisper yell. 

"Well yes I am. Give me your hand" he takes his hand out for me. 

"I am not crazy" I say and take my hand to my back. 

"Give me your hand or I'll kiss you in front of everyone" he throws his head to his right side. 

"You're crazy I am not!" I say when he comes closer to me.

I push him away just when taeyang oppa calls his name.

"Mino you're in Jisoo's team"   
"What? You can't do this to me". 

"Jennie you're with Jinwoo" 

"Lisa you will be with Taehyun" 

"And as for Yoon you go with Nancy"  

After taking our partners we head to change into farm dresses. 

"So Kim Jennie! You know how to cook?" Jinwoo oppa asks me. 

"I can cook chicken. But not so good. What about you oppa?" I ask wearing my gloves. 

"I am a master in this field" he gives me a reassuring smile. 

"That's good then" I smile and we enter the room.

There are chickens everywhere. 

"How will we catch them? They are so fast" I shout to make him hear me. 

"Let's give it a go Jen!" He shouts back. 

"Okay!" I say and we start running to catch them. We run from here to there but after running for an hour we can't manage to catch any. 

"Oppa I am out of breathe" I say in between my long breathe. 

"You can take a rest. I'll handle it" he points to a chair in the corner. 

"No oppa. Everyone else is working hard. I should too" I say and get up again. 

"You aren't feeling too well. You should take a rest. Believe me I'll handle this." He says and drags me to the chair. 

I sit there and he runs back to catch the chicken. 

I drink water from the bottle when Mino comes to me. 

"Let's ditch the trip and go on a date" he takes his hand for me. 

"May be you should ditch the trip and go to see a doctor" I get up to leave but he grabs my wrist. 
"Yah! If you're willing to die go die alone, because I don't wanna be scolded by taeyang oppa" I take out my hand from his grip. 

"Oppa?" He raises his eyebrows. 

"Yes oppa!" I cross my both arm on my chest. 

"Call me oppa too!" 

"In your dreams!" I say and run away to Jinwoo oppa.
