A New Friend

Sorry for not writing for so long .  Its holidays now so yeah have been caught up in activities.this may be another short chappie so no hate please  . So without any further delay here is the next chapter. <3

chapter 5

Aaron POV

"Erm.......errr......."Shit what was i going to say ?Should I tell a lie to cover up or tell the truth?Will Leon still think of me as a friend if I tell the truth?I was freaking out here. I have got no idea on what to say or do.And I am not the type that makes good with decisions. 

"Hey, come on Grace, you dont have any right to ask him those kinds of questions .", the girl sitting across me said.The girl had brown curly hair ,big brown eyes that bespoke her emotions. What a perfect tan! She was pretty in her own way. She looked like the type that would standup for what was right. I think we are going to get along quite well .

"Shut up Jessica. I wasn't talking to you, right?" Grace snapped back, glaring at Jesicca haughtily.

You could actually feel the hate radiating off the two girls.These girls are better off being on different planets let alone the same school.

"Leon , please tell your bitch to shut the hell up and also tell her to stay out of peoples business." With that, Jessica stood up and took her lunch with her to throw away and walked out of the cafeteria. 

I was really touched but I needed to tell her that she really didn't have to stand up for me . I needed an excuse to get way from the table. 

"Leon, I need to get to my locker to get some stuff and, you know,  find my way to my next class , so yeah...... see you around." I said.

"Oh okay...bye." I barely heard him say it beacause I was already walking away. I gave a small wave and smile to show him that I heard him and to tell the rest of the group that I was leaving. I was 6 feet away from the table when I heard Grace say "Yeah! Go and comfort her ". I slowed down a bit to hear what Leon might say to that.

I totally did not expect this next part to happen 

 Leon said, "Just shut it, okay Grace . You and Jessica have been like fighting everyday since you met her and she always leaves the table unhappy of frustrated, so for once just shut it. And leave Aaron alone you hardly know him." Damn, he said that with so much of force if I were to say so myself.  I felt my  cheeks  heat up and smiled a little knowing that Leon had my back With that, I picked up my speed until I was nearly running and kept at that pace until I saw my locker. I grabbed my stuff and started walking around the school trying to find Jessica.

After I walked around for 10 minutes or so, I found her sitting on the steps going up to the library . She was reading her science textbook. I sat next to her on the steps and she looked up instantly.

"Why did you stand up for me ?"

She sighed deeply before answering."Because Grace always trys to dig out information or personal stuff from you and she will spread it to make you look like a fool."

"How do you know that she does that?"

"I've seen it happen may times and also experienced it myself." she said quietly , looking at her hands that rested on her lap.

"So thats why you hate her so much"

"Yeah I guess so. Leon doesn't know about what she does, " she blankly stared into space for a second or two before completing the sentence, like she was saying it to herself  "He thinks she is all good".

"Well not that much anymore" I said smiling to myself.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Jessica looked at me with a slightly puzzeled look.

"I heard Leon tell her off when I was walking away "

"Oh wow! He is the type that would usually not care about what that witch was saying. If you don't mind me asking, what sexuality are you?"

"Erm ..... I think I can trust you so .....erm I think I am gay ", my voice became softer and softer as I neared the end of the sentence.

"Oh .....I think that we will become good friends........or better yet GBF (gay best friends)and we will find out whether you are gay or not!" she said with excitment and sheer determination.

"Yeah I think so too" I said smiling brightly.

Leon's POV

"Leon, I need to get to my locker to get some stuff and you know find my way to my next class , so yeah.... see you around." I heard a small voice that I immediately recognised as Aaron's.

"Oh okay... bye." I said feeling sad that he was leaving. What the hell? Leon get a grip. I knew that he wanted to leave because of what Grace said so I felt a bit pissed. Weird I usually am not easily infuriated. The next part is something that I did not expect to here from Grace,"Yeah! Go comfort her".

That was when I lost it .

"Just, shut it okay Grace . You and Jessica have been fighting everyday since you met her and she leaves the table unhappy or frustrated, so for once just shut it. And leave Aaron alone you hardly know him.", I snapped at her. She looked a bit taken back but she didn't say anything. I was glad for that.
