The Grimm Slayer(Rwby x Male reader)

From slayer to hunter

The day after the slayer joined beacon was the day of the school dance,something no one expected the slayer to go to. The slayer himself didn't wish to go to the dance,he'd rather spend time training and so he did. The night of the dance you can see a young man walking away from beacon,with an older man walking behind him.

Ozpin:Mr.L/n,please wait.

The slayer stopped and turned to the headmaster.

Ozpin:Are you sure you don't want to go the the dance,all your classmates are having fun without you.

Y/n:I have more fun with my sword going through Grimm,thanks for the request.

Ozpin:This obsession will get you killed.

Y/n:Then I die,it doesn't matter.

Ozpin:You shouldn't speak like that.

Y/n:Why does it matter to you?

Ozpin:Because I've seen enough young souls die over revenge.

Y/n:Well,don't hold your breath.

The young slayer then jumped off the cliff,ready to get his sword in the Grimm. The slayer hit the ground and he rolled into a stand,he then began to run through the woods as the screen goes up to above the tree line. This is were we meet back up with team rwby back in the beacon dance.

Ruby:I don't see y/n anywhere,do you think he's okay?

Blake:You really didn't expect him to come,did you?

Ruby:I don't know,maybe?!

Yang:He'll be okay,I mean he is the Grimm slayer.

Ruby:He has a name,y'know?

Yang:I was just saying,he has a reputation.

Ruby:I should go find him.

Weiss:If you have too.

The young rose then left the ballroom,she was making her way to the dorms when she was stopped by professer ozpin.

Ozpin:You're looking for Mr.l/n,correct?

Ruby:Um,yeah?

Ozpin:Then you should know he is in the emerald forest.

Ruby:He is?! Why!?

Ozpin:The bo-no,the young man has an unhealthy obsession with slaying Grimm. I fear this will be the death of him.

Ruby:I should go get him,it's not safe out there alone.

Ozpin:There will be no one to protect you out there,are you sure you want to go?

Ruby:Yeah,I am.

The young rose then stepped into her dorm,she changed into her usual clothing and ran to the emerald forest. Once at the cliff it was easy to tell where the slayer was,she just had to follow the screams of Grimm. The roars stopped and she was left to follow where they came from,she eventually came to a clearing where the slayer was ripping the head off of a boarbatusk,with his bare hands.

Y/n:HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

The rose was taken back by his laughter,never had she heard the slayer be so loud in person. It was like he was a diffrent man entirely,but none the less,the head of the boarbatusk was ripped from the body and the slayer drenched in the black substance that the Grimm would use as blood.

Ruby:Y-y/n,is that you?

The slayer looked behind him,showing only his glowing eye. He then fully turned his body as he removed his helmet,he was bleeding from a new scratch that he received in the battle.

Ruby:You're bleeding!

The aura of the slayer sealed the wound and left only a scar,showing that his aura was not as strong as it should have been.

Y/n:It was stupid to come out here alone.

Ruby:Then why did you-

Y/n:I was talking about you,it was stupid and reckless to come out here by yourself. I can handle this.

Ruby:I can too,I'm a good fighter.

The slayer then took a throwing knife and threw it at the rose,she yelped in fear but the blade missed her and went into the eye of a beowolf. The rose turned to see her,possible,attacker with the blade through it's eye.

Ruby:I didn't even

Y/n:Go back,you're too young to be out here alone.

The slayer put his helmet back on as he walked deeper into the forest,the rose quickly after him.

Ruby:I'm not going to leave you alone out here!

Y/n:I want to be alone.

Ruby:Why?! Why do you not want to be with the others,I know we just met but we're your team now.

Y/n:I feel more at home here,killing Grimm,then I ever will at that school. Only reason I joined or even came with you all in the first place was because I was promised Grimm to kill.

Ruby:But what if you died?

Y/n:Then it's a win,win situation. I die and see my family again or I kill more Grimm,I win either way.

The slayer walked the rose to a cave,where he then light a torch. He walked into the cave and a small beowolf jumped out at him,he took the torch and shoved it into the face of the wolf. The whines of the wolf faded as the fire ran it's course.

Ruby:Dear god.

Y/n:Even the small one's can kill.

The slayer then walked until he saw a pit,full of smaller Grimm.

Y/n:A pit,this is where they grow bigger.

He took oil off his belt and poured it down into the pit.

Y/n:Time to stunt their growth. You might want to hold your breath,burning Grimm smell awful.

Ruby:What are you going to do?!

The slayer then dropped their torch down into the pit,the screams from the smaller Grimm were deafening. The screen slowly fades to the sound of burning and the eye of the slayer.
