The Grimm Slayer(Rwby x Male reader)

The slayer was awake the next day,before the rest of his team,and he was getting ready to leave. He instinctively went to grab his helmet only to realize that it was broken,he left the room. The rose woke up as the slayer opened the door and left,she quickly got up and changed. As the slayer walked down a hall the rose met up with him.

Ruby:Y'know,it's kinda weird to see you without your helmet.

Y/n:Do I look bad?

The rose began to shake her head and hands.

Ruby:No,no, that's not it! You just always have it on is all,I didn't mean to sound mean.

Y/n:No I get it,I have more scars on my face then most people do on their entire bodies.

Ruby:But you're not ugly! You look....manly?

Y/n:If you say.

Ruby:So,what are you doing? You should be resting right now,especially after that fight you had yesterday.

Y/n:I'm fine,my aura healed me,and I'm going home,there's something I need to get.

Ruby:Can I come?

Y/n:If you want.

The two then walked in an awkward silence,one that the slayer didn't notice. The rose soon spoke.

Ruby:You're really quiet when you're not,y'know,slaying.

Y/n:People keep telling me that but I don't see what they mean.

Ruby:Well,you kinda go....crazy when fighting.

Y/n:I do? It doesn't feel like I do.

*Flashback*

The slayer was shoving his sword into the throat of an alpha beowolf,his eyes redder then blood.

Y/n:CHOKE ON IT! CHOKE ON MY VENGEANCE!! HAHAHAHAHA!

*End Of Flashback*

Y/n:Are you sure?

Ruby:Am I.....yes I'm sure.

Y/n:....right.

The two made it to the bullheads and the slayer asked the pilot to take him home,telling him where to go. The slayer then moved back to the rose and took a seat next to her.

Y/n:Won't the others be worried?

Ruby:Nah,I sent yang a text. She knows I'm with you.

The rose's scroll then buzzed,she looked at the notification and her cheeks went red.

Y/n:What's wrong,did you catch a cold?

Ruby:N-no,I'm fine.

Unknown to the slayer the notification that the rose had received was a message from her elder sister,it read "Have fun on your date.".

Ruby:Anyways,how's your home?

Y/n:It's a small but fairly well known place, mainly for our blacksmith. His name is bluck, a mean man at first glance but he is quite gentle when you get close to him. He's also my grandfather,and the only family I have left.

The rose put her hand in that of the slayer's.

Ruby:I'm...sorry,you've lost a lot.

Y/n:The Grimm will lose more.

Ruby:So,I've been wondering. What is your semblance,why does your eye glow?

Y/n:My semblance has a function for both eyes,my left allows me to find the quickest way to beat an enemy,my right eye numbs all my senses. My sight,hearing,taste,feeling,and smell all get worse,but it has its benefits. Pain isn't as present and strong lights and noises don't affect me as much.

Ruby:Sounds...difficult.

Y/n:Not as bad as it sounds,it makes fighting easier.

Ruby:I saw,I mean,you got back up after having your leg crushed. If you felt pain you wouldn't have been able to move,and when it was crushing your head...I'm sorry. I should have helped but I was scared.

Y/n:The Grimm scare you that much.

Ruby:It wasn't the Grimm,it was you. You terrified me,it was like watching a demon fight,it didn't stand a chance.

Y/n:So....you're afraid of me.

Ruby:What,No it was just...just that once.

Y/n:Really?

Ruby:Really.

Y/n:...of course it was.

The bullhead landed and the slayer stepped off with the rose,the slayer then guided her to his old home. He opened the door and walked in,the rose close behind him.

Ruby:This was your house?

Y/n:It was.

Ruby:It's nice.

Y/n:No thanks to me.

He then came to a room,he opened the door and walked to a box. He opened the front of it and there sat a helmet,it was identical to the slayer's previous helm but with the exception of two great horns. Both in the shape of the beast that killed the slayer's family and made from the bones of a great bear. The slayer grabbed the helmet and put it on his waist,for safe keeping.

Y/n:One more thing I need to do before we go back.

Ruby:Fine by me.

The slayer then left the room and the house,locking the door after the rose had left, and he took her outside a blacksmith shop named "Worse for wear".

Y/n:You can wait here or come inside with me,the choice is yours.

Ruby:I'll go inside.

Y/n:Alright.

The slayer then took the rose into the shop,she started to look at the weapons on the first step inside.

Y/n:Grandpop?

Bluck:Y/n? Well,good to see yer still kickin. Well,whatcha doin here lad? Tis' ain't a social vist,innit?

Y/n:No,sorry. I came to tell you I'm taking the helmet you made for dad.

Bluck:That boy never wore it anyhow,it's yours.

Y/n:Thank you,grandpop.

Bluck:Don't you thank me,I made that helm for killin nothin else. It don't matter who wears it.

Y/n:Right,I'll come back soon.

Bluck:Before ya go,who's this charmin little darlin? She won't quit starin at me goods.

Ruby:Sorry! I'm ruby rose,it's a pleasure. I've heard of you,you're bluck grunn!

Bluck:That I am,you somethin special to the boy?

Ruby:I'm his team leader.

Bluck:A young lass like yourself,that don't sound right but I'm not smart myself. I just know how to make a good killin weapon,I'm the reason the boy is so good at murderin those backslappin cunts we call Grimm. Sorry for the language,lassy.

Ruby:You're fine.

Y/n:Bye,poppop.

Bluck:Make sure ya come back alive,I'll kick your arse if ya die on me.

Y/n:I know.

The slayer left,having to drag the rose away from the shop, and she turned to him.

Ruby:Why didn't you tell me that bluck grunn was your grandfather?!

Y/n:I did.

Ruby:You didn't say his last name,man that's so cool,and you said it was kinda well known. No wonder the piolt knew where to go,you're home is super famous.

Y/n:Not really but if you say so.

Ruby:You're so stubborn.

The scene fades with the sounds of footsteps away from the shop.
