Allie did NOT like fighting. She hated blood and gore, more than the average person. The only thing she was ok with, was the paranormal. Strange happenings that couldn't be explained. Sometimes, she liked to be scared. But other times she just wants whatever was scaring her to stop. It was a bit of a problem, but there wasn't really anything anyone could do about it.During training, she had to run ten laps around the village, which was HUGE, then jump hurdles over and over and over again, punch and kick the dummies until they all fell over, and finally, she had to pick out, a weapon.
The weapons looked as if they had been newly polished, they looked like they had been getting special treatment, other than the fact that they were in an old shed tucked away in a corner by the far wall. Away from the main entrance. Probably so that if they ever got attacked, the attackers wouldn't have easy access to newly polished weapons if theirs broke. Smart.
There were many different types of weapons in the shed. Swords, daggers, spears. But there was one that caught her eye. A bow and a pack of arrows. The bow itself was made of dark wood, and had a purple and blue gem in the middle of it, with little silver flecks. Which drew her attention to her necklace, with the same pattern as the gem on the bow. The arrow tips were almost all normal, grey and pointed. But one was not like the others, the tip looked like it was made from the same jewel, and the wood was a metallic silver color. The pack that was holding the arrows itself was a silver color as well. She didn't have to guess that that bow was meant for her, but no one had known that when it was made. All of the other weapons had gems as well, but none like hers.
The training field was large, and had plenty of barrels of food and water. There were many different areas where it branched off, for the different types of weapons, but in the main, central area, there were other obstacles that no matter what weapon you chose, you would still have to do them. On the far left, there were hurdles that would go up by one notch every time, and on the right there was a large track field, where you would run and try and jump over the pit of dirt that was laid out in the middle of each track line. While in the middle, there were exercise teachers, other things like jump ropes and balls. There was also a bucket full of goggles, ones that looked like VR Goggles, she assumed that they were for more training exercises, but later she found out that they were actually a simulator for Allie and Baaron.
She quickly took the weapon and brought it back to the training arena to show the others. Unsurprisingly, they seemed to think that she was going to choose the bow either way. Although she wasn't that surprised either, it had seemed like it was calling to her, like she had to have THAT one. She was thinking about naming it, so that she remembered where it was. It was weird, whenever Allie named something, she always could remember where it was. People always thought she was weird because of that.
She met Baaron and Camara at the training field and they immediately began more training, this time with target practice. Today, all she had to do was sit and watch Camara show her how to use a bow and arrow, how to aim, and the safety precautions.
Allie didn't know what to expect the next day, she didn't get to sleep that night either. She had a feeling that that was how it was going to be every night. She was not looking forward to that part of this whole thing in the maze.
As she practiced the next day, she had to go through what was called a blood arrow tournament, which was where she had to knock twelve ball things filled with red water, to simulate real blood in a battle, with her arrows. She decided not to use her gem arrow, as she didn't yet know it's uses in battle.
During the Blood Arrow Tournament, although it wasn't much of a tournament, there were many others that had to do it as well, Allie soon found that they were soldiers preparing for battle, and that apparently, someone had brilliantly put her in charge of them. She was practically known during sports games for her tactical brilliance, she could plan things like no other, so of course she was their master strategist every time a game came up.
The others mostly hit around ten to five of the blood balls, which made her feel as though she was a failure even though she hadn't even gone yet. These soldiers in training have had much, much more training with this before, therefore they were automatically better than her, in her mind at least. When the time came for her turn, her knees were shaking so much that she worried her legs would give out right in the middle of it.
She stepped up to the plate, nervous and fidgeting like crazy, and soon they released the crystal blood balls, she instantaneously nocked her bow as if she had done it a million times and aimed as best she could. The next thing she knew, she was covered in dark red water, and there were shattered parts of crystal all around her. The creatures around her stared at her, speechless. She wondered what they were all thinking, and why they were staring at her. It was most likely the fact that she hit at least over two of the balls that before were speeding towards her like a cheetah. In a heartbeat, she saw Baaron walking proudly towards, his head held high, and Allie wondered why he did.
"Do you know what you just did?" He asked, with a slight hint of surprise in his voice. Allie shook her head, genuinely confused on why he sounded actually proud of her, as if she did something amazing. Unless... She did? She didn't know what in the world Baaron was talking about.
"You... You just beat the record... in the entire history of the maze... without even practicing... You hit all twelve of them. All twelve blood balls. And yet no one in history, not even past Chosen Ones have been able to... Allie... Do you know what this means?"
She was desperately curious now, and very much so shocked to where she could hardly muster the word "No."
"Allie, you... you have the most amazing gift than all the rest." He continued.
"You have all of them."
Ok... yeah nvm this story is complete crap, I'm sorry I put you through this :/

P.S. I've noticed that it says Finished Dreamscapes, at the last slide, thing, but it's not finished whatsoever, so still come back and check on it every once in a while, if you want to, just in case I update with another chapter, which might be while, just FYI.
