As I look, I can see.
Hunger. Death. Disease.
What has become of us?
Everything turned into politics.
So much hate.
Hate.
Hate.
Hate.
What does it take to love?
As I sit and watch,
What the world has become,
I think to myself,
What went wrong?
Her.
Her smile.
Her tears.
Her tears.
Although she waits,
Everyday at that stop
She knows he is gone.
Her mind is an unstable creature.
She is slowly going insane.
But what is amazing,
Is her smile,
Her tears,
Her heart,
And as she waits for him,
He walks by.
The pale sky darkens;
it's thoughts growing murkier.
One single raindrop falls
gracefully to the dry ground.
Suddenly, a downpour.
A strike. A flash. A clash.
I run, but I cannot. Escape.
The winds howl and snatch up my hair.
A scream, is it me?
Is it the tears or the rain dripping off my face?
Help me.
Help me.
Help me!
I run, and run, and run
but I will never leave this place called my mind.
