Love Letters

To my dearest Valentine, 

I'm currently writing this to you while watching the snow fall outside of my window, Christmas music playing in the background (all of which remind me of you :)  

There are few words in the English dictionary that can even come close to describe how I feel for you.  You are my soulmate.  You are my best-friend.  You are my partner in crime.  You are the reason I wake up with a smile.  I knew from the moment I saw you, sitting on the bus, I just knew it was you.  

It was always you. 

I remember all of those little moments that made me fall in love with you more and more.  Creating a cute list, playing the snow, dancing under the stars, and blasting music in your car.  I fell deeply in love (I love that phrase) with everything you didn't know you do.  You are an absolute complete dork, my Valentine.  But I wouldn't have it any other way.  I seriously cannot comprehend how absolutely wonderful, fantastic, and wondrous you are.  You're such a dork, but you're mine.  You are mine and mine only.  Forever.  

Thank you for making me a better person.  You came into my life and you made it beautiful.  You made me realize the beauty and brevity of life, which is something I have always unintentionally ignored until you.  Soon enough after I had met you, I realized that I was looking for you in everything.  In every drop of rain, every sunset, every song.  It was always you.  You constantly and consistently remind me of everything good in the world.  When I am with you, I feel as though I'm one of those girls in the movies, meaning being full heartedly loved by someone else no matter my flaws.  Valentine, I wish to do everything with you.  Have and feel everything.  Experience anything and everything as long as you are by my side.  You make my life brighter, and you make everything so much more magnificent.  Thank you for strengthening my relationship with God (yes, you did that too).  I have prayed every day for something just like this, and now it's here, and I'm so blessed.  I can't believe God gave me something as spectacular and wonderful as you.  

I love you.  I love you x1000.  I love you with an obsession, and a passion, with every ounce of my being.  Every cell in my body screams your name.  "This is the one right here."  The statement, 'I love you' is not enough to describe everything you make me feel.  Thank you for being my one.

To the absolute best person I have ever met in my lifetime, 

You are sincerely the most wonderful thing to ever happen to me.

It absolutely amazes me how God decided at some point in time that we would meet.  I am forever grateful to have found someone who cares about me more than anything, and who loves me unconditionally.  For the first time in a long time, it feels as though I belong.  

All my life, I have waited for a hero to come along and save me,

and after a long time of waiting,

I had the thought that maybe I was never meant to have a hero in my story,

maybe I was meant to be the hero in someone else's story.

But now I know,

It's been God all along who has made this, meaning us, happen.  And I am so blessed and lucky that he did.  I am so glad I met you, and even if God only meant us to be with each other for a little while (which I sincerely doubt), I am so glad He put you in my life.  

I love every small detail about you.  I have completely fallen for every single miniscule aspect of you, Valentine.  There is not one thing I do not love about you.  You make me feel truly safe and you have given me back my joy.  

And as they said in The Notebook,

"No matter what happens to us,

every day spent with you is 

the best day of my life."
