Chapter 1: The Application Form

     After a hard day of school, and 8 hours at the gym and her work, Himiko Toga was finally home. She grabbed the key from the tape under her mailbox, and heard the satisfying click as the key turned and her door opened with a creak. Toga knew that it was midnight, so her parents were probably asleep. Just as she expected, her parents were both asleep. Her mom was asleep in bed, and her dad was asleep in the living room. She quietly tip-toed to her mom's bed, and pulled the blankets up to her chest. She didn't bother laying her dad down. Ever since she got her quirk, her dad had neglected her. It was almost like he was scared of her. Toga had slipped up once. When she has just discovered her quirk, she had found a bird, and had killed it, and drank it's blood. She was very young and didn't know what she was doing, and it never happened again. In fact, many people at her school thought she was quirkless. But those people weren't important, and they would all be just memories soon. She was in her 3rd year, so she would be going to high school, and her number one choice was U.A high. Her mom had texted her during her work, and had said that the application form had came today. She decided to fill it out at her desk. The first things were simple. Name: Himiko Toga. Quirk: Transform. Quirk Description: Anyone I drink the blood of, I can transform into. The time I can transform into depends on how much blood I get from them. Here was when she got stuck. Why do you want to be a hero (optional). That one was harder for her. Why did she want to be a hero? It wasn't for glory, or money. She didn't really know, or at least that was what she told herself. Deep inside, Himiko knew, but was too afraid to say. It was to get revenge. To prove to her dad and everybody else that doubted her that she could be a hero. She decided to leave it blank. She put the letter back in the envelope and went to bed, her mind still racing about everything,
