The cold air nipped at the pair's noses causing them to turn a soft pink.
Fingers intertwined as they stare at the glittering navy sky.
Sage shivered despite the sweatshirt and multiple layers of fabric covering her small body.
The other pulls her closer, turning on their side to hug her.
The cold October wind making the pine trees rustle and the shadows of the leaves to shift around in the sky
She smiles and whispers a kind, "Thank you."
Paisley simply nods in response and nuzzles their head in the crook of her neck.
Warm.. the feeling was warm. Their heart fluttered.
She giggles and puts their her hand over her nose to warm it from the frigid breeze.
The taller one wraps their hands around her waist and pulls her closer, leaving the space between them to become nonexistent.
So close. The two were so close..feeling the body heat radiate off one another and make each other warmer
Sage smiles at the warmth.
Paisley smiles at her presence.
She then removes the sweater sleeve from the warmer skin on her nose and puts it back to her side.
Her nose was more of a pale pinkish color. The coldness still keeping it an odd color compared to when she wasn't freezing.
The shorter girl whispers their name and the two of them meet each other's gaze
They stare fondly at her warm welcoming feeling and flicker their sight between both of her eyes.
She stares into Paisley's colder eyes, but is still gentle and loving.
She knows they try. It's not their fault that the life they have isn't convenient or content.
They only open up to her, she isn't sure why but she loves that.
Not that they don't talk to anyone else.
But the fact that they trust her,
out of everyone in the world,
her.
