Milo Thatch:
. The two of you were childhood friends, who shared the same experience of being orphans. You had lost your mother and father to a devastating fire when you were six, and had sought comfort in Milo and his grandfather, Thaddeus Thatch. They gladly accepted you, and you and Milo became close friends immediately. You two revelled in afternoon scavenging hunts, imaginary expeditions to lost civilizations, and of course, hot cocoa as Thaddeus read ghost stories to the two of you by the fireplace. The two of you attended the same school together, continuing to have adventures all the way through your high school years. No matter what happened, you were always there for one another.

Lyle Tiberius Rourke:
. You had been newly recruited into the military, and you met Commander Rourke through one of your superior officers. The heads of the base you worked at, saw potential in you—so, they decided to put you through special training with Rourke. At first, your relationship was strictly professional, but the two of you got along well. Eventually, you two became close comrades and he helped you move up through the ranks of the military. Though the two of you maintained that you were nothing but student and teacher, you were actually intimate friends behind closed doors. He opened up to you, confiding and sharing his feelings with you ( and Rourke is not a man who trusts easily ).

Helga Katrina Sinclair:
. Similar to Milo, the two of you were childhood friends. Both of you were military brats, coming from well-decorated, powerful families. The two of you grew up travelling around the world with each other, whilst getting into plenty of mischief. When you both were seventeen, you decided to study  combat arts together despite the fact that the two of you had been encouraged to pursue different careers. Under Rourke, the two of you got stronger and climbed the ranks in the military. Though it was difficult at times, your bond only strengthened as time went on.

Joshua Strongbear Sweet:
. The two of you became friends while attending medical school together. You weren't from a military family like he was, coming from a different background completely. Still, that didn't stop you two from finding similarities in one another, or from having a friendship. Working hard, the two of you graduated at the same time—but used your expertise in different fields. You maintained your close friendship though, not living far from one another. On weekends, he would come visit you at your small townhouse, always making sure to bring you gifts. In fact, you two were so close that some people in the military regarded you two as secret lovers, way before the two of you officially started dating.

Vincenzo ' Vinny ' Santorini:
. Your brother introduced you to Vinny, at a difficult time in your life. You had just left your first husband, due to infidelity and deception on his end—and you were in a state of heartbreak. You'd sworn never to have romantic affiliations with another man ever again, as a way to protect yourself from getting hurt. Your brother worked as a prison guard at a Turkish jail, while you were living in America at the time. He absolutely hated seeing you so depressed and listless, and sent you a letter asking if you would come to Turkey to see him. It took awhile for you to reply, but you agreed. While touring the prison he worked at, you collided with one of the inmates by accident. After making sure you were alright, your brother made introductions. Vinny was taken by you immediately, and you couldn't help but like him back. He was hilarious, mischievous, and had a love for explosives that made you crack up. So, your friendship grew, as you decided to move in with your brother in Istanbul. Every visitation day, you spent time with Vinny, the two of you growing closer—your heart and emotions slowly healing as you got to know each other.

Gaetan ' Mole ' Moliére:
. You were a freshman in college, just starting your studies for your degree, when the two of you met. You were studying mineralogy, an unusual field that you simply loved. Your class was going to take an educational trip to France, in order to document different types of minerals and soils for a project that would give you extra credit. Without hesitating, you signed up and packed your bags. Arriving in Paris was enthralling for you, as you had never left your home country before. The sights, sounds, smells, and people were incredible, quickly creating a love of everything French for you. When you and your classmates got to the mines you would be working at, there were many people. But one person in particular stood out to you. His name was Gaetan Moliére, but he was affectionately nicknamed Mole for his rodent like tendencies and appearance. He gravitated towards you, impressed with your knowledge of mineralogy. You two developed a close friendship, even from a long distance at times. People always commented that he held romantic feelings for you, because of his flirtatious way of speaking to and of you— but you didn't believe it right away.
