"Thanks for the offer, but bye." I salute quickly with my pointer and middle finger. Position my self perfectly, and jump.

I landed perfectly somersaulting into the impact. I had had plenty of practice running from the police. For some reason, people sleeping on rooftops and are technically murderers need to be put in jail. Weird, right?
"Are you crazy?!" You heard the boy yell. I turned my head over my shoulder while breaking out into a steady jog.
"Yes!" Only to find that he was gone. I turned my head back only to find the boy standing in front of me with a black sword in his hand. Wait. A SWORD?!
"No questions on how you got here this quickly or the fact that you have a sword," I said while looking behind him. Great. A cop car. I turned around, ready to make a break for it.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." The boy puts his hand on my shoulder. I flinch.
"Don't touch me," I growl. He looks at me not surprised, but almost understanding. Instead, he puts his hand out to shake, "I'm Nico. Nico Di Angelo." He looks at me almost daring me to shake his hand. I look behind him, the police car was trying to corner us into the alleyway. I grab his hand, which surprises him and me.
"Run," I let go of his hand and jump over the roof of the car and make a break for it out of the alleyway, hoping that he'll follow me. Luckily for him, he does, otherwise he would have been grabbed by the policemen that were getting out of the car. I sprint down the street, passing onlookers, children, and accidentally running into an old man.
"Sorry!" I squeak falling to the ground. I help him while silently cursing myself. I feel strong hands on my arms. I look up at the policeman.
"Mam you're under arrest for, murder, and for running away from the crime," I state uninterestedly, like he's done this hundreds of times before. Which he probably has. I think before fully understanding what the policeman said. I flail my arms and kick my feet, I even try to bite him, but he still refuses to let go.
"Resisting arrest will only get you more time in jail." He says. No, no, nonononono. This cannot be happening. I look over his shoulder. Nico is looking at me wide-eyed. Probably wondering why I'm being pulled over by the cops. He starts walking towards me and the cop. I smirk and wave sheepishly.
"Excuse me, sir, I was wondering I could have a talk with your prisoner?" He asks with a smirk. The policeman glances at us and probably assumes we're siblings and nods.
"I'm going to shadow travel us out of here okay?"
"Anythings better than going to jail," I respond.
"Yeah, we're gonna need to talk about that." Then without even glancing at the cop he hesitantly touches my shoulder. I try my hardest not to flinch. He nods and without any other notice, we slip into the darkness. I'm not going to explain it to you but I'm just going to tell you that it is an awful experience. I opened my eyes to find that we standing in what looked like to be an infirmary. A blond-haired boy, with an orange t-shirt that says, Camp Half-Blood, was sitting on a stool by an umpty bed, glances up.
"Nico! Your back!" He exclaims excitedly and rushed up to hug him.
"Nice to see you too Sunshine." Nico rolled his eyes. Will looks at me.
"That's her?" He asks. Nico just nodded. I decided to take action.
"Dabria Cardinal."
"Will Solace." He thrusts his hand out, which I gingerly take after a second hesitation. A wave of exhaustion suddenly hits me and my knees buckle. Will grabs my arm and looks at Nico to grab the other one.
"You have a lot of explaining to do," I say, but I know I won't hear them respond. I was quickly losing consciousness. My body felt weak. I didn't like that feeling, it made me feel so vulnerable, but I didn't have a choice as my eyelids close and I was plagued by sleep. The nightmares were horrible. It was like someone had recorded every death onto a video and glued it onto my eyes. I couldn't look away no matter hard I tried. I felt all the pain and sadness escape, and just left me wallowing in guilt. Deaths played like it was a Disney movie. Like they were happy and joyful. Each time one came on I would scream, angry at the world to curse me for death. Then a voice spoke, old and raspy,
"We will use the girl as a pawn. She will become important later" Another voice spoke, but this one was young and, pained?
"Yes my lord" Then two pairs of eyes looked straight at me and said, "We will find you," I screamed and my eyes flew open.
