Chapter 4

Purab turns towards Abhi and Disha and coldly says " Yeah, I hid those details from  you all. What do want me to do now? Join Kiara in an orphanage just because you know who is her mother. If you think so I'll let you do that to her you are clearly mistaken."

 Abhi flinches hearing Purab's opinion about him knowing that Purab is the only one who never cried for Pragya and even after knowing what he did to her he kept by his side never leaving him. He is now able to sense that boiling anger that Purab has suppressed inside him towards Abhi.

 Abhi again asks him more softly as if pleading him " You could have just told us, me the truth. Why did you hide it? You knew how much I was suffering even then you hid this from me."

 Purab replies with fires spitting from his eyes " When did you want me to tell you the truth? When I found her or is it when it was Kiara's first birthday. Did you know how much time it took me to find her, only a month. But you only started to try to find her after almost one and half year. I had already seen her suffer so much but couldn't save her then and now also. I brought Kiara home only because she already wouldn't be getting her mother's love for god knows how many more days but I wasn't cruel enough to separate her from her father. I was really tempted to raise Kiara by myself without any one of you knowing. But I guess on seeing her eyes which resembled her so much I couldn't do that to her. I have more than done a favor to you by bringing her here."

 All are confused hearing the talks between the two friends cum brothers. Dasi finally asks Abhi " What happened beta why are arguing with Purab as if he has committed some crime?" Abhi turns towards all of them says " Dasi do you know where Pragya is now? No na. But this man my brother, sorry sorry, Pragya's brother knew Pragya's whereabout for almost 7 years and didn't think it important enough for us to know where she was. He didn't even tell Kiara where she was and here she was sometimes crying for Pragya in the night."

 He then turns towards  Purab and continues " You could have at least told her Pragya's whereabouts. She has a right to know." To which Purab replies " What do want me to tell her how her mamma is in the state which she's in now and not living with you. That child will not be able to ever forgive you if I had told her the truth. She's more mature than her age just like her mother."

Abhi slumps hearing Purab and Disha also joins him. Meanwhile everyone is stunned to hear that while they have been searching Pragya like mad Purab knew where she was and didn't tell anyone.

 Alia asks Purab " You knew where Pragya was. Okay we understand why you didn't want to tell anyone but what condition are you talking about. Is she fine now?"

 Purab turns towards all of them and says " Pragya di had tried to commit suicide the day Dadi died but fortunately or unfortunately she didn't die but went into coma. I had found her in the worst condition possible and yes she's with me now but she hadn't waken up till now. Did you know in which condition I found her? She was pregnant when I found her and upon enquiring from the hospital I found that she tried suicide by jumping from a cliff. I for a fact know she's not the kind of a woman to try to take the life of her unborn child and hence I know she didn't even realize she was pregnant at that time. And before anyone asks me where that child is now. I would like to tell you that it is none other than Kiara daughter of Pragya Abhishek Mehra."

 All are stunned into silence hearing that the Kiara they all adore is in fact their very own blood and are saddened to hear about Pragya. At the same time Purab gets a call and he picks it up " Hello Maria........ What are you telling the truth....... I can't believe this..... After so many years...... Yes yes I'm coming there right know...... And you also call Dr.Singh there.... Yes I'll be there in ten minutes."

 Without speaking anything to anyone anymore Purab dashes out the house hurriedly and didn't notice Sunny and Kiara coming back from the park. Both of them are startled as they haven't seen Purab like this ever. They both go inside and see that everyone has tears in their eyes and Abhi is slumped there like a lifeless body. Kiara goes to Abhi and wipes his tears. When he doesn't react to her, she kisses his cheek which brought him out of his trance and in seeing his Kiara and with the knowledge that she is his and fuggy's daughter he kisses her face continuously without minding the confused faces of Sunny and Kiara.

 After having wept enough Abhi holds Kiara in his embrace so that she wouldn't leave him. All are seeing this and reminisces how Pragya also would do the same if anyone is sad and flashbacks of Kiara's infancy is shown when she behaved like Pragya and they all thought that to be just a coincidence.

 Once Abhi sobers up from his sadness he takes Kiara in his arms and tries to go outside to his car. All are confused seeing him take Kiara out. Kiara is totally confused and asks Abhi " Pops why are we going, I just came from park? Are we going to have ice-cream?"

 Abhi stops and turns answers to everyone " I know something has happened to fuggy that's why Purab has gone to her and I can't sit here idly she she must be suffering there. And Abhigya we are going to meet your Mumma. You always wanted to meet her. Right."

Note: I wrote this in a hurry while in class, as my college has started a week back. I will be even more irregular than before. I might give another update after 2 weeks. But hey no promises.
