Jason's father slammed his fist against the counter. " Fix your attitude, young man. How many times do I have to bail you out of jail?" His father was dressed in a beige button down shirt and a dress pants. Jason wore a plain white T-shirt and ripped jeans. The jeans weren't ripped on purpose. "He touched my car." Jason replied. He was on the verge of tears, squeezing his ice pack tightly. His dad's face softened at the mention of the car. "I will buy you a new car. It is time to let go of the car, Jason." His dad sighed, his face looking defeated. Jason shook his head, looking down at the black marble. His dad sighed. "No matter how much you fix it, it won't work." Jason stayed quiet. "Then I will fix it."

"Hi Jason!" Mrs. Smith enveloped him into a hug. Jason tensed in the sudden embrace. " You look taller." Jason smiled at the petite woman. "Matthew is in the den, watching tv." She hurriedly wrapped the scarf around her neck. " I will be back in two weeks. Family issues." Mrs. Smith rolled her eyes and led Jason into the den. "Matthew, mom is going to be back soon. Be nice, and brush your teeth. Your sister will be back later, ok sweetheart?" Matthew nodded, engrossed by the tv. "He is nice most of the time. Most of the time." Mrs. Smith gave Jason's shoulder a squeeze and walked towards the garage door. Jason sighed and covered his face. He needed the money. His father refused to pay for the old car. He couldn't get a job anywhere because of his bad reputation. "Why are you crying?" Matthew asked Jason. Jason smiled at him. "I'm not crying." Jason replied to the young boy. "You don't talk a lot. I like you. My sister won't be quiet." Matthew giggled at Jason. The whole afternoon was Matthew talking about his favorite tv show, Teen Titans.

Matthew snored lightly on the brown couch. Jason kept his distance from the small child. Jason looked at Matthew. Matthew talked about his sister a lot. Jason was jealous of Matthew. Matthew had the one thing that Jason lost in that old car. Jason grimaced at the memory. Jason clenched his hands in fists. He cried silently. Jason stood up, he carried Matthew upstairs into his room. He covered Matthew under the covers. Matthew snored lightly.

"Where are you?!" Jason's father shouted from the other line of the phone. Jason rolled his eyes. "I am babysitting. The kid's sister is not showing up." Jason groaned. His eyes were barely open and he was exhausted from all the listening he had to do today. "Don't lie to me, Stanton." His father demanaded. Jason shut his phone off, leaving his father speechless. He leaned agains the gigantic fridge. He shut his eyes closed.

It was 2 AM. 2 AM! Jason wanted to scream. He could'nt leave the child home alone, and he had no idea how to locate his lunatic sister. Jason was lost in his thoughts, when a door slammed shut. "Mom! I'm home!" A girl giggled. Jason froze, and then his face softened. "Finally." He murmured. The girl's cheeks were bright red and her skirt was up her ass. 'Slut.' Jason thought. "Are you Matthew's sister?" Jason tapped the girl's shoulder. The girl smiled. She poked Jason's cheek. "Aw. You are so cute Matt. When did you get so tall?" The girl measured the height difference by moving her hand horizontally. Jason snatched her hand, and pushed it the side. Jason sighed. "Well. I am leaving. Goodnight." Jason grabbed his backpack and started for the door. "No! Don't leave Matthew!" She squealed. She ran and squeezed Jason's calf. Jason froze, and shook his leg. "GET OFF!" He shouted. The girl laughed and grabbed his leg tighter. She stuck her tongue out at him. "Matthew, dont leave." She whispered, all the humor on her face disappearing. Jason sighed, again. Jason realized he had been sighing a lot these couple of days. The girl closed her eyes. She leaned her cheek against the rough fabric of his jeans. He tried to untangle himself from the girl's skinny arms. He slowly reached for her arm. He slowly picked it up, and tried to put it on the floor. Something caught his eye. Red marks were all over her left arm. His eyes widened at the sight. He shook it off. 'Man, this girl was trouble.' He thought. Jason slowly freed himself from her grasp. He tip-toed to the front door, and close it shut. The lock was automatic. He smiled to himself. This girl reminded him of someone he lost forever. As he walked the slightly dimmed streets, he saw an oppurtunity to meet his long lost somebody.
