The girl handed Jason a cold cup of water. "Do you need a fluffy pillow?" She asked quietly. Her cheeks were bright pink, and her blue eyes were dimmed. Jason laughed. "I'm good. Your cheeks are really flushed." Jason replied with a smile. “I’m just a little tired, nothing else." The girl replied coolly, but blushing even more. "Aw, that's too bad." Jason frowned. "Why?" The girl asked. "I was hoping you were blushing because of me." Jason replied, giving the girl two winks. The girl laughed at Jason. "Your funny." She said, cracking up with laughter. Jason gave her a small bow. He twirled his arms and slightly turned his head. The girl's phone rang from the counter. Her eyes widened and she dropped her plastic cup from her hand. "Come on!" She shouted. She grabbed Jason's hand and pulled her to his side. "Where" Jason was cut off by the girl's hand covering his mouth. She ran to the back door, and opened it. "Come with me." She said, smiling. "I'm going to cover your eyes. Trust me." She whispered covering his eyes with her small hands. The girl slowly led Jason to a patchy part of the large field. "1,2,3" She whispered. She slowly moved her hands from his eyes. Jason squinted at the sun. He saw the sunset's light flash right through the small heart of the fence. Making a perfect heart onto the green patch of grass on the field. The girl stepped in front of Jason. A smile covered her face. "It's cheesy. I know. But, it just makes me happy. And I thought maybe it would make you happy too." Jason was shocked by the girl's words. Something rised in him an he couldn’t stop himself. He grabbed her arm, yanking it to his chest. She fell into his arms, shocked. Her hands started to shake. Jason turned her to face him, resting her hand on her hips. "Wha-" The girl started to ask, trying to pull away. Jason dove in for her lips. He kissed her, like they knew each other forever. He lost himself in the kiss. He held her tightly to his chest. The girl whimpered, and pulled away suddenly. Her lips were pink and swollen. "What the-" The girl started, but tears began to roll down her cheeks. She started to cry. She yelled and started tugging at her hair. She cried and sobbed falling to the wet grass. Jason tried to step closer to her. "No. Please. This is too much." She covered her mouth, and bit into her black sweater. She turned her hair, her blond hair turning with her. Sunlight got caught in the ends. She ran to the back door. She didn't even shut the door. Jason was left startled with a broken heart and pink lips.
