Lauren and Michael squirmed out of the dresser, while Misty and Alan eventually found their way into the closet- scratches scarred their face.

"Wh-what happened?!" Lauren gasped.

"We couldn't find a hiding place in time.." Misty mumbled, folding her arms. "He attacked us right before we hid in the hallway closet."

"And we don't have any bandages left- we used them on my wrists." She sighed, wiping a finger across her forehead, drawing away a glob of blood.

Alan slipped his phone out of his pocket, clicking the screen, a lump forming in his throat at the sight..

"Uh.. guys." He croaked. "It's two fifty-six!"

"So-so we came out of hiding too early?!" Misty gasped, cupping her hands to her mouth.

Fumbling footsteps raced from another room, alarming the four.

"Run!" Misty cried.

Lauren paused, feeling dizzy, though she compelled the feeling away with a rapid shake of her head. She looked up from her feet, realizing everyone had left.

"W-wait!" She wailed, trailing after them.

Lauren scrambled to the door of the closet, attempting to twist the knob- though it wouldn't budged. Locked..

Her breaths grew heavy, as she begun to sweat.

Lauren let out a shrill scream- a figure struck forward, grasping her.

Michael paused, tugging Alan's sleeve. "Shit, we left Lauren!"

"Dude! Don't go in there!" Alan hissed. Misty exchanged a wide-eye look with the two, growing fearful for her friend's safety.

"Michael! Stop! He might get you too." Alan stated firmly, placing a hand on his shoulder.

He frowned, swatting Alan away with a sharp twist of his body.

"Wait.." Misty paused, narrowing her eyes. "Do you like her?!" She gasped, awaiting Michael's answer with little patience.

"I love her.." He corrected, a tear slipping out of his eye. "I already have a girlfriend, but.." Michael paused, shaking his head. "I can't explain it right now."

"Let's get this ass of a night over with." Michael sighed.

"Don't worry, we'll get her back." Misty promised, offering a silent smile of hope. "She.. also likes you a lot. No- loves. She loves you a lot." She whispered.

"She's liked you since eighth grade." Misty added. "She never thought you'd like her back. Lauren was really upset when she found out about Julie..-"

"Fuck it. I'm going in." Michael grumbled, lunging towards the door.

"Wait-"

Misty shook her head, grasping at Allen's hand. "We might as well follow him in." She breathed.

Michael crashed in, finding Lauren limp on the floor, sobbing. She had a hand close to her eye, blood streaming down her fingertips.

"Lauren! What'd he do to you?" Misty gasped, breaking away from Alan.

Lauren weakly lifted her head, removing her hand- exposing a circle of blood around her eye. She moaned, staggering to her feet. "The devil cornered me.. and did that to my eye." She whispered.

"Oh my gosh, Ren!" Misty stifled a gasp, wrapping her hands around her friend's body. "Don't worry.. we WILL get out of here."

"Even if we play another game." Michael added. He had loomed over to Lauren's side, pulling her body close to his'.

"Hopefully we need to only play one more game." Misty murmured, allowing Lauren to Michael.
