Jungkook
My head was aching after the small argument I had with Sora. How could she slammed the door of my favourite car? Duh.
I was on my way to Jimin's office; my best friend and at the same time, my share partner. I decided to collaborate with his company and took him as the co-CEO of our company. Whenever I'm not around, he'll take care of my work. He also own his own company but he tended to work with me since the work he had to do here isn't as much as at his dad's company. He was such a lazy ass.
I wasn't really in a good mood. I felt lethargic and fatigued. I really needed something to boost my energy back. As I walked towards his office, I opened the door without bothering to knock first. Suddenly, I heard someone said my name.
"Yes! I want to meet Jungkook! "
"Who said my name? " I asked and looked at the familiar small figure that was standing in front of me. It was a medium tall girl; not so short and not so tall. Her body was so thin and small.
The girl slowly turned her head back to look at me then her eyes grew wide once her eyes landed on me. "Jeon! This is the Jeon I want to meet! " She said excitedly then stood next to me. It was Hyerin, the barista girl.
I furrowed my eyebrows. "Hyerin? What are you doing here? " I asked.
"She comes to meet you, " Jimin interrupted.
I looked back at Hyerin then back to Jimin. "Can you please wait for me outside? I have something to talk with Jimin. " I told her. Without complaining, she nodded her head like an obedient puppy then went outside to wait for me.
"Who's that girl? How did you know her? " Jimin asked once Hyerin walked out from his office.
I smirked to myself. "That's Hyerin. My favourite barista, " I answered casually. I already knew that she'd come to find me. I predicted it already. I even asked my assistant, Ms Choo to free my well packed schedule if a girl named Hyerin comes to meet me. But she ended up meeting the wrong person.
"Your favourite? " Jimin asked in interest. "It's rare to know that you've your own fave. That's unusual, " he commented while resting his head on the hard cover of his chair.
As the play boy he is, he smirked at me. "She's cute. Is she still single? " I expected that question to spit out from his mouth.
I rolled my eyes as I was annoyed at how he still kept his playboy-ish behaviour since high school. "Don't ever think to flirt with my workers especially my barista, " I told him before walking out of his office.
"Your favourite barista! " I heard he yelled and it made me low key laughed at myself. But what he said was true after all. Hyerin is cute.
I looked at the girl who had the same level as my chest height then crossed my arms. She didn't notice that I was already standing behind her and I could hear that she was mumbling something, as if she was praying for something because she was nervous.
"Uhm, " I cleared my throat. "Follow me. We're going into my office, " I told her and she flinched when she suddenly heard my voice out of nowhere. Seemed like she didn't even hear my breath.
"Alright, " she nodded then followed me from behind.
I made sure that she followed me step by step and didn't get lost because there were a lot of people in the department area. They'd only make way for me but not for her since I'm their boss. Her small and thin body would always get hit and bumped to people's shoulders. That was how small she was so I had to make sure she didn't miss my steps. I know that I could just ask her to walk beside me but I never did that to anyone. So why would I do that when I just met her a few days ago, right?
