Rest,at last.

A week later,after the attempted attack of the sirens,and with it their eradication from earth,Gladiator remained in the medical room along Ark,to watch over her and talk with her,getting trough the recovery process together. 

*Gladiator's POV*

*it was the morning of the fifthinth of October,i was looking outside the window at the port as i held Ark's hand wich was peacefully sleeping,until i heard the door open,as i looked towards it,it was Vestal*

Vestal: Good morning you two

Gladiator: Good morning Vestal

*Ark soon woke up,groggly opening her eyes and looking at vestal*
Ark: good morning...

Vestal: Ah,just in time, Miss Ark, you will be able to walk again in a few hours

Ark: That's incredible news...thank you miss 

Gladiator: Thank you Vestal

Vestal: *softly smiles* Only doing my job

*With those news,Vestal left the room,leaving me and Ark alone again,i saw ark softly turn her head towards me and smile*

Ark: you will finally be able to go out

Gladiator: Hmm,well why would i do that?

Ark: Because of my injuries...i kept you here...

Gladiator: *kisses her gently* and so...? what's wrong with that,i was staying with one of the girls from my harem because i care for her...it was my fault she got injured in the first place...and at least i could've repaid her by keeping her company trough her recovery

Ark: *blushes* Aren't you a sweetie...even if you are so big in size and a feared one...at the core,you are a soft,kind man,someone that helps others trough their hard times...and that even helped me

Gladiator: heh...indeed,before my arrival here...everyone saw you as a danger to the younger ones,but now,they see you as their ally,and a royal,the youngers don't fear when they are around you now and more over,gave you hugs

Ark: When you proved to laffey that i'm not someone to fear...Gladiator,none of this would've been possible if you didn't arrive in our time...thank you...from the bottom of my heart *smiles*

Gladiator: *smiles and pulls up his mask* You will be able to walk soon,my love

Ark: indeed,but for now,i want to spend my time with my love

*i continued to spend time with ark,few hours later vestal came and announced her that she could walk again,but she would have to take it slowly since she just exited her recovery process*
