I let out a sigh, walk up to my front door, and open it to see my parents looking at me like I had two heads. I just walk past them not wanting to talk about it. I just went to my room and floped down on my bed. I sat there on my bed just thinking about everything that has happened. As I'm sitting on my bed I hear my parents coming to my room so I sit up and look towards the door. They knock on the door and come in with questions all over their faces.

"Umm sweetie....were where you and why didn't you tell us that you where leavening?" My father asked raising his voice a little at the end.

"It wasn't exactly my choice. I kinda had something come up on  my way back." I said looking at the wall.

My father had a look of disbelief on his face, and he looked as if he was about to kill someone by the way he was balling his fists so tight. "And what exactly could have possibly came up that you not only didn't come home last night, but you came home in clothes that i know you didn't leave in. And what's with the sunglasses? You hung over or something? You're in the house, show some respect and take them off!" My father started yelling at the end. I could tell he was really upset, acting like this wasn't my normal. I let out a heavy sigh, I could feel my hands shaking as I go to reach for the sunglasses.

I pull them off looking at my father. His face goes pale, and he takes a few steps back grabbing at the wall. His mouth wide open in disbelief. My mother, on the other hand,  just got up and left the room with her head down shaking it. Most likely to go get her gun for demons, she was going to kill me. I got up with haste and grabbed a bag filling it with some of my clothes. "I'm not going to hurt you. It's already been long enough that if I was going to lose control i would have." I say setting the bag next to the door. I go to reach for my dad but he's still standing there shocked. He even stepped away form me. Fighting to hold back tears I go to grab my sunglasses, and start making my way out of the house. I didn't  see my mom on my way out, but that was probably for the best. My mom's always been one to hold a hot and quick temper.

I was only walking down the road not to sure where I was going to go now, but I had an idea even if it was only for a little bit. Their was this lake not too far from here with a dock and an old tree house from when Rezz, Demitri, and I were younger. It use to be our favorite place to hangout; we would stay up all night swimming, dancing to music while Demitri would beat box along, we would also stay up late eating all the candy we could get with the money our parents would give us. It was always my favorite thing to do in the summer when we had a break from training and school. I always did love the time I spent with my friends the most, they would always know how to keep things fun and at a  fast pace. We havent been to that place in forever though, I doubt they would think to check there. Probably nothing more then a long lost memory to them.

As I'm walking down the road, I look up distracted from thinking to hear some one running up behind me. I quickly I turn around and throw one of my magic cards. We hunters use these a lot during fights with demons. After all they get sure abilities, we might as well fight back dirty too. No, the magic wasn't demonic either contrary to popular superstitions. It's just too dangerous for the average person to use without hurting themselves. Even making the cards the ritual can be intense when not done right and the directions followed to a perfect match. When the card lands on the selected enemy it sends waves of electricity through the body in pulsing waves. I throw the card without fully looking t who it was going for, not wanting to run the risk of someone catching me again. I look over to see that the person I hit with a card was Zeke.

He rolled around on the ground for a little bit hissing in pain. Strange, I'm sure i threw the right card. He shouldn't be in that much pain, it was just a simple stun card.  I stare at him with my arms crossed, and let out a sigh picking him up to carrying him with me. Just leaving him their would have just been too cruel. As I'm walking to the dock he starts to move so I set him down on the ground and wait of him to be able to move on his own. I watch as he rolls around on the floor trying to get up while still being paralyzed. I let out a soft chuckle because its funny watching him roll around on the ground like that. I sit down and laugh softly to myself at him because it was fun watching him roll around like this.

"Fuck, help me up!" He said to me getting irritated that he couldn't get up and move. Still rolling around on the ground like a worm on the sidewalk after rain.

"Nah I'm good it's kinda funny watching you rolling around on the ground like that, Mr. oh so powerful" I said looking at my still new to me sharp claws.

"Your demon's starting to show....you better got a grip on it." Zeke said giving me a hard look. I roll my eyes and help him up then I keep walking. He follows behind complaining about how he can't feel his feet. "Demon's been quiet since leaving your house, I just have a sadistic side." I tell Zeke looking over at him. "Also why did that card mess you up so bad? It was just supposed to make you unable to move for a few minutes."

Zeke looks over to me now laughing, "You're a demon now after all, youre going to be stronger. Your magic included, only of course its demon magic now. Much stronger than that petty weak holy magic."
