Spark blushed heavily as he looked out of the window of Justin's car. His mind was racing, and his heart was beating quickly.
"You okay?" Justin asked, looking at the Jolteon.
"We kissed..." Spark told the Lucario in shock. "Winter and I kissed..."
"Well that's great." Justin smiled, "You confessed to her?"
"It was an accident!" Spark shouted, "I didn't mean to kiss her... But I'm glad it happened."
Justin smiled before pressing a few buttons beside the steering wheel before the car began moving. "You remind me of Dan's younger self."
"He was like me?" Spark asked, his face finally turning back to it's normal shade. " But he's so serious, while I'm... Not."
"Let me tell you a story." Justin smiled, turning towards him and taking his paws off of the steering wheel.
"Eyes on the road, Justin!" Spark exclaimed frantically.
"It's on auto drive, Spark." Justin replied bluntly. "It was supplied by Unova."
"Awesome!" Spark exclaimed, looking around the car. "When will I get one?"
"When you actually get a driver's license." Justin answered, passing Spark his black and white suit. "You're still fifteen, remember?"
"Whatever." Spark pouted childishly, looking out of the window and at the setting sun.
"Anyways..." Justin cleared his throat.
Beginning of Flashback
"So Justin, we're getting our teams decided soon." Dan smiled, "Who do you think we're gonna be with?"
"I don't know, dude." Justin replied, "I'm just glad we graduated." Justin put a paw behind his head before giving the Arcanine a nervous smile.

"Justin, Dan, and Cecelia." The Agency leader, a Gardevoir, spoke. "You three will make up a team to perform missions."
"But that's only three of us, Ma'am." Cecelia told her. "Teams are made up of four."
"Since you three are on the younger side, I'm having you perform under supervision." The Gardevoir replied.
"What type?" Justin asked before a younger Arcanine smiled.
"I'm sure whoever it is, it'll be fine." Dan smiled brightly. "What's our first mission?"

The three nervously whimpered as they walked back into the agency. Cecelia was holding back tears, Justin was trying to comfort her, and Dan had an emotionless expression.
The mission had failed horribly. No one knows what happened on that mission aside from the three of them. They didn't want to talk about it, though. Ever since then, Dan had changed. he put up a cold front when it came to missions, and tried to look for others as soon as the three finished the missions.
End of Flashback
"Dan changed because a comrade died?" Spark asked with a sad, deadpan voice. "Sounds rough."
"It's fine." Justin replied. "We've moved on. Now let's get to that mission."
"R-Right." Spark replied, still a little bothered by Justin's story.
Meanwhile...
Tyler, Winter, Aiden, and Skylar arrived home along with Drizzle and Violet before they said their goodbyes.
