It had been days, no wait-weeks!
Since I'd last seen Alex and Taylor, the wedding date had finally come to a close, it was in a few hours considering it was only 7am right now, my stomach churned at the thought of it, I was going to lose him forever. Not even to another man, a woman. I was so revolting he chose a girl over me, but then again, was I fooling myself all this time since the begginning? Or was he fooling himself?
I walked over to my wardrobe and threw it open, grabbing the hanger that held a thick plastic case which protected the expensive tuxedo. I gently lay it on my bed and stared at it for a while, stroking the silky material before finally standing up and heading for the bathroom so I could clean up.
Sighing as I got into the steaming hot shower, I quickly shampooed my hair and cleaned up. Then wrapping a towel around my waist, heading to the mirror with a razor and shaving cream in hand, preparing to cleanly shave off the stubble that had been left alone to grow for a few days.

After changing into clothes and straightening (plus hairspraying) my hair I sprayed on some cologne, before heading downstairs, though not walking as normally as I usually would due to the fact the posh looking shoes were stiff as rocks. Just as I reached the last step the doorbell rung. I inwardly groaned-hoping it better not be the person I was expecting.
Though it wasn't, as I threw the door open lazily, my eyes adjusted to see my old bandmates. Rian and Zach. Their eyes widened slightly, just as mine did, I stepped to the side to let them in.
"Um, come in?" I mentally slapped myself for breaking the silence with a questioning tone.
"Hey, how are you?" Rian asked the same time as Zach spoke.
"Long time no see."
I nodded wearily. Zach's hair has grown longer than I remembered, though they were both dressed in suits-Zach had decided to kind of cheat and put on some high tops instead.
I gestured for them to go to the living room, seating myself down I bit my lip, ready for another awkward silence.
"So, Jack, it's been a while." Rian began.
"Quite a while, actually." I immediatley responded.
He nodded. "So you're all clean now, right? You look great, all fresh, though the only thing missing was that usual grin that you always had plastered on your face."
I couldn't help but smile a little at that.
I heard the vibration of a mobile phone before Zach stood up and rolled his eyes.
"We better start heading out cos Alex is going crazy, um, you know where the hall thingy is right?"
I nodded. "Y-yeah, thanks."
"Be there as soon as you can, we'll catch up later." Rian winked at me before heading to the door, Zach following behind, to which he sternly nodded at me.

Leaving the house, I locked the front door securely and headed to the car. Throwing the door open, I slid inside, twisting the key in the ignition the car started up, then shut down again. I frowned, trying again and again, but still the same result came. I slid out of the front seat and slammed the door harshly in frustration.
Opening the hood of the raven coloured car, I twisted the lids and screws to make sure everything was securely fixed in, soon enough my fingers were coated with sweat, I tactfully rubbed them on my pants before taking a glance at them, to then realise it wasn't sweat. It was black liquid (oil) that had leaked out.
