Chapter 6

D:: Sona I'm not getting the right feeling
S:: Dev don't worry I'm sure nothing major happened. Dev don't look down, look at me Dev....
D:: I .. I .. I'm not looking down
S:: Dev it's okay don't be nervous... sometimes they stop in the middle in case someone wants to get down or something...
Dev's legs started shaking his hands got cold, he started stuttering
D:: I'm.. sss... I'm sorry... I just have phobia ....
S:: Dev it's okay it happens, I felt this way when I went for paragliding
D:: I ... love paragliding I have no problem
S:: what? You went paragliding and you are scared now?
D:: I told you I'm scared...
Suddenly it got windy and things started to move and Dev started freaking out
S:: Dev it's okay it's only wind, hold my hand Dev
Sona held his hand tightly his hands were cold as ice she could see him start shaking, Sona cupped his face
S:: Dev look at me!! Just don't move look at me
As she was holding his face he had no choice but to listen to Sona, she could see his eyes flickering his lips quivering he was nervous, he was scared, Sona found him so adorable, she could see the innocence in Dev she felt lucky to be with a real man who wasn't scared to be scared in front of a woman. Who was man enough to show his weakness to a woman. Sona was lost in her own thoughts for few seconds and she started smiling while Dev looked into her eyes, another fish of wind made the swing move harder and Dev's hand clamped on to her thighs and it brought her out of her thought Dev closed his eyes
S:: Dev open your eyes, look at me one more time
He slowly opened his eyes and Sona was so close to him that suddenly his heart started beating faster than what it was, her nose was touching his nose she tilted her head lil bit, Dev's lips just parted automatically, as she moved closer Dev closed his eyes and filled the gap, he gently pecked on her lips and he did it again and again and the 4 th time as Sona parted her lips he sucked on to her lower lip and she went along their lips played along harmoniously as if they synchronized their kiss,it was like magic sky full of stars and they were so high up away from everyone, Dev stopped shaking, his hands were not cold anymore as they moved to her hair his fingers ran through her hair, they both felt butterflies and suddenly the ride started moving and that broke the kiss and looked around then he just held her hand smiling on his own and next three minutes they just sat without talking to each other and it was time to get down Dev got off first and gave his hand to Sonakshi and that's when they actually looked at each other.
S:: so that was the last ride
D:: and that was the best ride (he said it under his breath)
S:: you said something?
D:: dinner?
S:: hmmm why not... I'm hungry after all the rides
D:: glad you said it I'm hungry too. What would you like to eat?
S:: you really wanna know?
D:: yes
S:: I wanna have a big double burger with lots of fries and a large soda
D:: you are serious? I mean I love when girls eat but looking at you I can't believe that you will even half of it
S:: I'm serious I eat a lot but I don't put on weight
D:: okay sounds good to be then I can also eat like a normal person and not show off in front of my girlfriend that I don't eat much
S:: hey no!! Why would you do that? I want you to eat properly and don't worry I don't feel shy about eating
Then they ate a lot of food and Dev was surprised that Sona did eat most of her food. It was 8::30 and now they are very tired so they are heading home, they go to the parking and sit inside the car and atlast Dev thought of talking about what happened in the ride
D:: Sona
S:: hmmmm
D:: I just .... I mean ... you know... I mean the Ferris wheel hmm mmmm aaaaa....
S:: you mean our first kiss
Dev's eyes dilated he just smiled and nodded slightly
D:: thank you
S:: why?
D:: for making me feel so special
S:: you are special
He placed his forehead on hers as if he was transferring all his love to Sona and gave a quick peck on her lips before anyone could see as the parking lot was busy too.
D:: can we go to my special place before we go home?
S:: sure
The whole trip Sona put her head on his shoulder held his hand as he drove and listened to their favorite songs and soon they reached their special place.
S:: do we have to get down?
D:: why what happened? You don't want to?
S:: no!! Remember last time I couldn't se anything at night and a frog was on my foot
D:: Hahahaha okay fine we don't have to get down we can just sit inside the car
S:: so did you like going on the rides? Tell me was it better than before?
D:: I think I'm ready to go back again ( they both laugh)
Dev caressed her cheek
D:: your skin is so smooth
S:: now don't ask me about my skin care
Dev was little surprised by the reply but he found it cute and started laughing
D:: why ? ain't you going to tell me your secret?
S:: don't worry once we get married I'll take care of your skin
D:: so, are we ready for marriage?
S:: Dev.... mmm..
D:: don't worry no rush, let's enjoy being boyfriend girlfriend after this you will have to do all my work then take care of me cook for me, give me massage after I come back from work
S:: what? You are going to make me do all that and what are you going to do?
D:: I'm going to love you day and night
S:: after making me work whole day then you say you will love me
D:: you really think I'll make you do all that?
S:: I don't know may be
D:: common Sona, look at me...
As Sona turned towards Dev he looked at her with so much love and passion that melted Sona right away, Dev rubbed his thumb on her cheek
D:: can we continue where we left in the Ferris wheel?
S:: I think we can (she said it softly)
As they came close to each other Dev's nose was rubbing her nose their breathe was little uneven, some how this time they were more nervous they were conscious, they didn't want to go wrong. Dev kisses her cheek gently and lingered the kiss to the corner of her lips, Sona closed her eyes and parted her lips Dev took a quick look at her and he kissed her lips and gently licked her with his tongue and slowly worked his way in, he was gentle but passionate, after kissing for a while Dev thought of giving her a breather but a slight moan came from her side asking for more and ofcourse he wasn't going to disappoint her. After a looooooong passionate kiss it was time to go home, as Dev dropped her home for the first time Dev felt that Sona wanted to be with him more, he was happy thinking that atleast Sona is thinking marriage as their future.
Things have been changing now both Dev and Sona look happy they started doing things with the family, spending time with family and also with each other. Soon Dev became a son to the Sharma family and Sona became the daughter of the Arora family... Two months passed and their love grew stronger and this time Dev felt Sona was ready for marriage.
Dev thought its high time to pop the question now so he planned a quiet proposal, he didn't want to make it big and be disappointed.

Dev called Sonakshi
D:: hello Sona
S:: hello Dev Oh my God you called I was going to call you
D:: oh wow!! You sound very excited what happened?
S:: actually I've decided something
D:: even I decided something
S:: really? What?
D:: can we meet for Dinner?
S:: oh yes sure!
D:: how about 7pm I'll pick you up
S:: ok I'll see you then bye love
That evening Dev wore nice clothes and picked up Sona who was wearing a nice white knee length dress she just looked perfect. When she got in the car Dev gave her a bouquet of roses which made her very happy
S:: you are looking nice today? Anything special?
D:: I just thought of fine dining today, and you look happy and beautiful
S:: thank you and I am happy
They go to a very nice restaurant and Dev ordered champagne 🥂
D:: so you said you wanted to say something
S:: u said u had something to say
D:: hmmm first you
S:: Dev, Actually last few days I've been thinking about us and I'm happy that I took the right decision when I should've may be that was the best decision and now I feel I should just say this...
D:: Yea I'm listening
S:: Dev ... I know I can trust you and I do plan to be with you all my life... that's why I felt I should talk to you about our future
D:: okay
S:: Dev, I want to go to New York to do a fashion designing course and its for a year.....
