Five hours, some snacks, a whole wardrobe, and some crazy-ass photos later we were finally finished and back.
“I had fun today.” Harry said sincerely.
“Me too, Harry. Although I still don’t agree with you buying me all this stuff, it was nice. Can I tell you a secret?” I asked.
“Of course… go on.”
“Well, it’s not that big of a deal, I was just worried about coming here and being completely lonely, not knowing anyone and such. So I’m really glad we met. You’re super awesome, and the boys are great too.” Looking in his eyes, I truly meant what I said.
Harry smiled, “Awe, Penny, I’m touched.” He laughed “I’m glad we met too, you’re fun to be with.” I blushed at this “And the boys like you too.” He added.
“Well… except for Louis.” I replied.
“Yeah… Lou, I’m sorry about him. I don’t know what his problem is. Just try to ignore him.”
I nodded, and we continued on our way. We talked and laughed on our way to his car, but just as we were across the street from it, we stopped on our tracks.
Crowded around his car was a huge group of girls. Seeing the mass of people, Harry cursed, and that’s all that was needed. They all turned at once, and there was about two seconds of silence before the screaming irrupted.
Without a thought, Harry turned and ran.
“Penelope, come on!” He shouted, and I booked after him.
We both ran as fast as we could, but I was way slower than Harry so the fans were catching up to us.
“Harry, I… Can’t…” I panted.
With that Harry stopped dead in his tracks and I nearly smashed into him.
“Why are we stopping?” I asked, breathing heavily, and without a word he scooped me up and threw me over his shoulder.
He took off again down the street, and turned down the next alley way. We took a few more turns, getting lost in the back streets, before the screams behind us finally started to fade away.
Harry stopped running when we came to a dead end, and stood for a moment in silence, listening to see if we were going to be found.
