After a few minutes of silence, and once we were sure we had lost the crowd of girls, I spoke up
“Uhm, well Harry, as comfy as I am hanging upside down, your butt is right in my face. So would you consider putting me down now please?”
He chuckled and put me back on the ground, “You know you like it, Penny.”
“Well yeah, but I was still rather uncomfortable…”
Harry gave me a weird look, and what I just said clicked.
“No no! Not your butt in my face! You! Yeah know? It’s you I like.” I scrambled, quickly trying to fix my embarrassment, but obviously that didn’t work too well.
“I mean. No! Crap. Not you-you, just... ugh, damnit….” I put my head in my hands.
Great, I just told Harry Styles I liked him. Preparing for shutdown…
“You like me, Penelope?” Harry asked, I cringed.
“I mean, like technically, sort of, I guess. I mean, like… ah shit. Yes, I do.” I huffed out. I put my head back in my hands before I could see his reaction. “Awesome, now it’s awkward. Let’s just forget I just told you that.” I mumbled.
I heard him laugh, and looked up to see him smiling at me.
“Well, actually… I don’t think I want to forget that.”
I gave him a questioning look.
“I don’t want to forget that because it makes me happy. I like that you like me, because I technically, sort of like you too.” Harry said genuinely.
“Awe, well okay, good.” I smiled, looking down blushing.
Harry set our bags on the ground, and came over, wrapping his arms around me. “So Penny, would you let me take you out on a date?”
I pulled back and smiled, looking in his brilliant green orbs, “Of course Harry, I’d love to.”
