Jason's pov

Nothing is happening at Flora's place, for once. usually her puppy, Mouse, a tiny Chihuahua that's only two years old would be freaking out. Flora is making lunch in the kitchen as I sit on the couch in the living room. The tv sits across from me yet I am to lazy to reach for the remote. Mouse is laying in between my arm and my chest almost in full dream state. The house is small, in the woods, has a pool in the back, and a huge backyard. There are two bedrooms, yet Flora lives alone. One bathroom on both the first and second floor. It is small but covered in greenery such as vines, flowers, and bushes.
Mouse snored making his tiny ears twitch and red collar jingle. His tan fur with dark brown strip down the middle to the tip of his tail reflected the light shining above there heads. Flora only bathed him last night but yet that outrageous pup managed to get dirt woven into his hair. He started to growl so I woke him, as soon as I did he won't running into the kitchen. I decided to fallow him to see if Flora was done cooking. luckily she was.

We sat in the dining room siting across from each other, staring blankly. Something was on her mind, yet I could not guess it. She made herself a salad and for me, top ramen, the food from the gods. I aways fell safe around Flora. Ever since my dad left, my family acted differently. should not complain knowing Flora had a bad background with her family as well. I look up to see Flora missing. she went to clean her dishes so I did the same.

"Jason, could you take mouse for a walk, I will finish up with the dishes if that's ok."
I said yes, of course, I am going to live with the dog soon so I better get a good bond with it.

It was cool outside a nice thing sense it is summer time. I can here something crying. I ran to the sound and could not believe my eyes.
