Mari's POV.

As I made my way through the cafeteria, I saw the three devils coming towards me.

I tried to run away, but Adrien suddenly  grabbed my arm tightly, making me wince in pain.

"Where do you think you are going, Mari-trash," asked Alya.

"To eat my lunch," I replied looking down.

"You sure about that, Mari-brat? You already are so fat, you don't know, do you? If I were you, I would just die, you don't need to eat these fatty croissants and macaroons which are no where near good," said Lila.

"P-please leave me alone," I requested barely above a whisper. As soon as I said that, Adrien's grip around my arm tightened. "Adrien you're hurting me!"

"You think I care about that!?" he barked at me.

"You know guys, my father didn't give me the permission to go to a party. You up for a beating, Trash?" Adrien asked casually.

Before I could even protest, they took me to an alley right behind school.

"Hey Lila, do you want to beat her up? After all, she does bully you,"  asked Alya.

"No guys I am afraid not, as much as I want to beat her up, if I do, I will be no better than Marinette," said Lila.

"Well looks like we would have to enjoy hitting her, ourselves."

They started kicking me and punching me in the stomach, arms and my face. Their punches did not hurt, but what really hurt that these who people were once my friends, were hitting me, that they believed a new girl over me, rather than their best friend, rather than me, a girl who they had known since  kinder garden, a girl who had proved her friendship when ever  they needed help. A girl who had  proved their friendship, ever since they became friends. It hurt even thinking about how much fun we had together.

After few minutes of beating me up, they finally left me alone in the ally and I finally let the darkness over take me.
