Five years passed, and Kiku still didn’t get over your death. Every day, after the world meetings, he went straight home and ran to one of his bathrooms. Lying on the bathtub, there was you. Under the water, covered with salt and with a beautiful (f/c) dress. Kiku was not worried with the fact that you were occupying the bathtub, for he had another. He had lost you, but only your life.
When you died, Kiku begged the hospital to keep you. And, after a long time, they accepted. He lost your life and didn’t want to lose you entirely. So, picking you up, he took you to his house and put you on the bathtub turned on the water in warm, put on lots of salt and left you there, with a (f/c) dress and your favourite flower (f/flower) on your head. And every week, he changed the water and put you a new (f/flower) before the other one died.
A few days later, Kiku decided to skip the world meeting and went to the park where you both met. It was a great autumn day, like that day. Tears streamed down Kiku's face, as he saw other couples stitting on the benches and cuddling. He brought his hands to his face and started to sob and cry. Then, he felt a small hand on his knee and looked up to see who it was. It was a little girl with (h/c) hair, (e/c) eyes and about four years old. She entirely reminded him of you.
- Why are you crying? - she asked.
- F-for no reason. I'm fine.
- No you're not. - she said, with a serious face. - You look like you lost someone.
- Well, I did lose someone.
- Can I help you find that person?
- You are very nice. - he said patting the girl's head. - But she is already in heaven, you see?
- Awww... I'm sorry...
- It's okay.
- What did she look like?
- Well, - he began. - she had shinny (e/c) eyes and a soft (h/c) hair. She was beautiful. - he day dreamed, until more tears started to stream down his face again.
- Don't cry. - she begged, putting her hand on his cheek. - You'll be okay.
Japan wiped away his tears and thanked.
- _________! - the girl's mother called, making Japan gasp.
- Well. I have to go. - the girl said a bit sad. - Can we play tomorrow?
He was quite speechless but then, he answered with a smile:
- Yes. I'll be here tomorrow afternoon.
- Yay! I can't wait. - she said peeking his cheek and waving goodbye. - See you tomorrow.
- See you. - he waved back.
Since that day, Japan went to all the meetings so that he knew when to go to the park to play with his new friend... You. And although he knew you passed away, he knew he would be able to love again.
‘Cause an empty room can be so loud
There's too many tears to drown them out
So hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
When you love someone
And they break your heart
Don't give up on love
Have faith, restart
Just hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on’
