It's been a few months since your encounter with the unexpected and you're healthy as ever passed your return physical and you're exited to be back with the 118. You walk through the doors and you see hen with a balloon and a smiling face.
Hen: there she is how do you feel
Y/n: I feel great better than ever ready to get back to the job.
Eddie: or just ready to get back to buck
Eddie laughs as hen playfully punches his shoulder
Eddie: seriously though he's going to be happy
To see you he's been really worried about you we all were..
Hen: go get changed and come up stairs hurry up!

You smile at her and you start walking to the lockers to get dressed.
Buck walks into the station already dressed and he heads up stairs and looks confused by the balloons and cake
Buck: did I miss something?
Chim: well blood thinner boy your betrothed is back today she's down stairs getting changed
Buck: betrothed ? I don't get it
Hen: Y/n is back today it's her first day back chim might want to stop watching Disney princess movies with Maddy that's probably the only way he knows what that means..
Chim: your sister is softening me up buck help
Buck: that's all you man
You two laugh and the captain is walking over and starts moving his hands as if he's saying move go
Captain: she's coming up.
You walk upstairs to see all the balloons and cake.
Everyone: welcome back!!!!!
You smile and put your hand over your heart to show that you're happy.
Y/n: you guys this is so sweet. This means so much to me I love you guys.
Eddie: it was my idea
Y/n : yeah sure you blew up all these balloons easily since you do that so well hmm?
Eddie: ye.. no.. it's good to have you back.
You two smile at each other captain comes around and hugs you and looks you in the eye
Captain: are you sure you're ready to come back?
Y/n: I've never been more ready I need to come back please I'm bored.
Captain: I'm just making sure welcome back bug
He hugs you and heads back into the office
Buck approaches you and smiles at you
Buck: welcome back I'm happy to see you back here.. you're strong. And if you're up for it a movie at my place?
you smile and give him a hug
Y/n: yes please I'm tired of being at my house all day I need a change in scenery..
You notice everyone walking toward you.
And you whisper
"I'll head over after the shift"
You head over the team and continue to enjoy your first day back.
