~ The day felt long as Mabel made her way to the Mystery Shack. The sun was already setting but lucky for her she was already right outside the shack but she didn't right away enter. She felt this sick feeling in her gut as if she had done something that she shouldn't have done. She felt like signing the contract was wrong, as if she had just signed away her freedom. It would have been the smart thing to truly look through every line and agreement and the painful symbol that carved its way into her skin only made the feeling worse. It still stings like a fresh cut, which it was. Red and irritated but no blood was dripping from it.

"This was a mistake." Mabel sighed as she looked up at the sinister orange sky. The huge pyramid floating in the middle of it all was still visible where she was standing. Maybe it wasn't a mistake? Mabel thought, wondering if this is something Dipper would have done in her shoes? But no matter what, she couldn't shake the uneasy feeling that something was wrong.

The door creaked open which made Mabel jump but to her relief, it was just Pacifica. "Where have you been? You've kept me waiting at this disguising shack for two hours now!"

Mabel smiled, she never thought she would miss Pacifica's rude personality, but even still, Pacifica didn't talk to her in her normal annoyed tone like she does with everyone. Mabel is special to Pacifica which brings joy to her heart.

"Thanks for waiting for me." Mabel beamed.

Pacifica's cheeks turned red a little, "Well, that's what girlfriends do, right?" She muttered, her cheeks brightening more red when noticing how happy it made Mabel when calling their relationship as girlfriends. Pacifica stomped her way towards Mabel and grabbed her arm. "Let's go inside already, I can't stand being alone with your nerdy friends."

Mabel couldn't help but giggle at how hard Pacifica was trying to hide her flustered face. Mabel couldn't help but pull Pacifica back and kissed her soft lips. Their hands found each other and their fingers intertwined as they continued to softly move their lips against each other. When they parted they kept their faces close, still feeling very affectionate.

"What was that for?" Pacifica whispered, still feeling dazed from the kiss.

Mabel only shrugs, "It's what girlfriends do."

Pacifica couldn't hold back her smile, "I like it." she then looked down at their intertwined hands, enjoying the sight and how natural it feels. She never thought she would go out with Mabel, especially after how mean she has been to her. "I'm sorry." She whispered and before Mabel could ask what for, the door opened and Grunckle Stan stood there.

Very confused by the sight.

"You two should get inside now, the hellhounds will howl soon," he warned but soon noticed their hands. He frowns confusedly at why Mabel and Pacifica were outside, holding hands, and standing so close to each other.

Relation hit him all at once like a slap across the face when Pacifica said with a grin; "Let's head inside, darely~" and like that, the two girls walk inside, hand in hand and Grunkle Stan even noticed the slight blush on Mabel's face as the two headed upstairs.

Soos waved hello at Mabel until they disappeared, Soos then looked over at Grunkle Stan who was still standing there in shock. "What's wrong?" Soos asked.

"Since when have those two been dating?" Grunkle Stan finally asked, "And why that brat?"

Soos frowns, "They're dating? I thought they were just really good friends."
