Illumi Pov

My eyes shot open.The last thing I remember was mom shouting

"You're just an experiment!" I could never handle nightmares.I felt tears start to well up in my eyes. Before they could go down my cheeks I felt long strong arms pull me in, kisses carefully placed on my head.

"Prince-" before Hisoka could even finish the sentence tears poured down my face. I tried hiding myself from embarrassment under my curtains of hair. Hisoka reached down down lifting my chin to his, carefully brushing the tears away.

I couldn't do it anymore.

Hisoka Pov

Illumi pushed me away and gracefully jumped over the edge of the cave and into the forest. I jumped over the edge in hopes of finding him.

Shit. He was using zetsu and you can't here him when he moves.

"Illumi?" I looked around. The wind blew my messy hair around. Where is he?

"Illu-chan?" I was starting to get worried. Where could he be. His parents or even Chrollo could have caught him.

4 HOURS LATER

I gave up. I had walked through the entire forest. Illumi has probably realized that we were in York New and taken a blimp home. Or he got lost in the woods. I laid down against a tree. It's vines snaked around it, the leaves falling down like a slow rain and the grass so tall you could swim in it.

I closed my eyes only to be disturbed by scampering animals,wind,running water and wind kicking up dirt in every direction.

THAT'S IT! Illumi loves the soothing sound of running water. There must be a river not to far from here.

Illumi Pov

I ran for about an hour till I realized I had ran to the end of a river . I sat down on a tree who's limbs reached out over the river like snakes reaching for it's prey.

I cried. I was a failure. A great assassin who cried from a sentence, who made out with a clown and who was weak. All this training crumbled before me.

I cried myself to sleep. Hisoka would never find me in the moss that had been intertwined with the tree branches.

Hisoka Pov

I ran past a waterfall, past twists and turns, through miles of sky high grass, over hills, in caves till I made it to a massive tree. I couldn't find Illumi anywhere. I rested against the tree.

10 MIN LATER

I got up to go home.

"m.." A quite stifled cry echoed through the forest.I looked up. Did the moss just move? I soundlessly hopped onto the branch a looked in between it and the moss. Illumi slept curled up like a cat, his hair a mess and his eyes puffy. I carefully slid in between the branches and moss making sure not to wake him up.

I carefully little spooned him, wrapping him and I in a bungee gum hoodie that was softer than the hair on a kitten.

"Illu you know I love you. You don't have to hide things like this." I planted a kiss on his head as I wrapped my arms around him. He turned around and nuzzled his head into my shoulder. I could feel his cold tears soak my shoulder.

"Let it all out princess." His nails dug into my back and his nen poured out like a waterfall.

"Angel please keep your nen- Oh. Sweet dreams princess~" I cooed as I tucked his silky black hair behind his ears.
