Hey, so I need opinions! Do you think Y/n should end up with somebody or no? Keep in mind that I'm not very good at writing the lovey dovey crap.

-Y/n's POV-

Instead of using my bed, I crawled into his. He protested and tried to get me to move but I refused and eventually he gave up and fell asleep. Shortly after I too fall asleep, but it's not as nice a feeling as I would have it be.

I'm 13 again, in this old, beat-up Impala. I'm in the backseat, and a man with (h/l) (h/c) hair is the driver. I take out my phone, but I forgot that the volume was on high, so when I opened my game music blasted out. I cringed and quickly turned it down, and he turned around to scold me for distracting him from driving.

"Dad!" I cried out in fear, for a large rig blew a stop sign and was heading right for us. Everything seemed to move in slow motion, my father turning back around gunning it for the ditch straight ahead of us, me screaming, and finally the sound of the truck hitting us. The Impala flew backward, tipping onto its back and the driver slammed the brakes.

"Ugghhhh" I groaned, everything was spinning and black was encroaching on the edges of my vision. Everything hurt, and I faintly saw my dad passed out in the front seat, blood trickling from his head. I saw no airbag, and soon after bright flashing lights came into view and I heard a voice giving orders, but I couldn't make out what they said from the ringing in my ears.

My eyelids were getting heavy and I saw someone hovering over me, speaking to me. I just wanted to go to sleep, and my eyes started shutting. The person tried to keep me awake but I lulled into a dreamless sleep, the soft black comforting.

I leaped up with fear, panting, and shaking. Feeling a hand on my back I flinched and a tiny growl escaped my throat. The hand retracted and I looked over to see where it came from. Saiki was sitting there, looking a tad confused, worried, and annoyed I had woke him up. I whined and crawled back over to him, nuzzling his hand to show that I was sorry.

'What happened?' I heard him ask me in my head.

'It was nothing, just a classic nightmare' I thought back to him, lying through my teeth.

He frowned, and I knew right away he could tell I was lying. But he didn't push farther, laying back down and putting a reassuring hand on my back. I laid down next to him, my head on his chest. We went back to sleep, this time more peaceful.

Saiki's POV

I wonder what last night was about? Oh well, if she wants to tell me, she'll tell me. Right now I have to get ready for school. (Y/n) was snuggled up with me, and I poked her to get her up. Rising with a yawn and a stretch she stepped off the bed. Looking at me expectantly, she tilted her head.

'Do you have food? I'm hungry.' I heard her ask me, and I sigh and tell her to wait for me to get out of bed first.

After getting dressed, we head downstairs to get some food. Kurumi was cooking when she noticed us and (Y/n) must have smelt it because she trotted into the kitchen and looked up at her. Kurumi looked down and smiled at (Y/n), stooping to pet her before continuing cooking.

'Food?' She asked once again.

Yare yare, I guess I'll have to go get some dog food. But I have school so Kurumi will have to. Sitting down at the table, she brings breakfast over and sets in down. (Y/n) sits down beside me and looks at the food. Suddenly she bark-howls, and we look over at her.

'Food. Now.'

'We don't have food for you right now, so you need to wait.'

Her ears flattened and she looks down sadly. Sitting up she trots over to the couch and jumps onto it, making herself comfy while I go back to eating.

(Y/n)'s POV

Saiki left for school just now, and I wasn't happy one bit. Plus I'm still hungry. Kurumi stood up and told me that she's going to go get me some food and I wag my tail. Finally, someone is going to feed me! But I also want to follow Saiki to school, which one to choose? I think I'll eat first, then see if I can sneak out to Saiki.

After a little bit, Kurumi finally came back with some food. I jumped at her heels, very hungry now. She opened the little bag and poured some into a plastic bowl. Once she set it down I started to scarf it, finishing it quickly. My hunger satiated I went into the backyard to do some business.

But my main reason for being out here was to get out and follow Saiki. I doubted Kurumi would want to go outside by myself right now, so sneaking out was my best option. Looking around to make sure no one was watching, I started to dig underneath the fence. Luckily I managed to get out without her noticing, but I decided to play it safe and refill the hole some anyways.

Making my down the sidewalk I sniffed the air for Saiki's scent, and I found it. Keeping an eye out for dog catchers, I followed it until I reached P.K Academy. The gates were closed, but I managed to squeeze through the bars. Luckily there wasn't anybody outside, but I did hear voices and shouting coming from the back of the school.

Staying near the fenceline I cautiously sneaked over, and my tail began to quietly wag when I spotted Saiki. He was playing dodgeball, and his team was losing. Someone threw the ball and it hurtled towards Saiki. My ears faced forward, and I stared at that ball until something inside me wills me to chase it.

Springing forward, I raced towards the ball. Leaping up I caught it in my mouth just before it hit Saiki. Cries and shouts of surprise could be heard, and Saiki looked at me stunned.

'What are you doing here! You're supposed to be at home with Kurumi!' He scolded me.

I look down in shame, the ball still in my mouth. Suddenly I'm swarmed by the girls who saw the commotion and came over. I recognize Teruhashi in the crowd, but all of the hands and voices overwhelmed me. Whining, I tried to back away from everyone but I couldn't getaway.

Saiki, my knight in shining armor, came over and picked me up. I sighed in relief and licked his hand once to show I'm thankful. The girls squealed and asked Saiki if I was his dog. He said no and told them that he was just dogsitting for a relative. They all frowned and went back to their side of the yard. Putting me back down the boys came over and said hello, much calmer than the girls.

The P.E teacher was less thrilled about my appearance and told Saiki to send me home. I growled at that statement and went over to the side and sat. He sighed and left me alone, telling everyone to resume playing.

Hello peoples! I hope you are having a good day/night. I'm superduper sorry about not posting a chapter in a loooong time. Hopefully this makes up for it a bit.
