Joe's POV:
Joe's eyes landed on a slim girl with long black hair and pale skin. Her short black dress clung to her body, highlighting her small curves. The atmosphere seemed to bend around her, rippling and changing shape.
Leaning in towards his sister, he whispered, "Zoe, look at that girl, over there. Is it just me or..." Looking in his direction, Zoe stared at the girl, and a smile began to grow on her face. The moment the black haired girl locked eyes with his sister, she couldn't look away. She walked towards them, never breaking her gaze with Zoe. When she was no more than half a metre away, Joe saw how beautiful the girl really was. Steel grey eyes, framed with spidery black lashes. Her ebony hair fell in gentle waves against her back, and every time she stepped forward, the material of her dress shimmered.
"She's pretty, isn't she?" A voice murmured in his ear. Joe nodded wordlessly, not bothering to acknowledge who had just spoken to him. Tanya and Niomi moved past him to look at the new arrival, standing next to Zoe. Marcus, Jim and Alfie positioned themselves beside him, silently watching, as the girl came closer and closer.
