Althea's POV
We went home right after attending the concert, Gabrielle's home. Mom and Dad agreed that I'll be staying here overnight since it's Gab's birthday.
I'm sad that I am leaving and I still couldn't tell about us. My fear's taking over. Maybe I'll just tell them when I'm abroad.
Time check : 11:20 pm.
I just finished taking a bath and I'm standing near the window inside her room, holding a wine glass. We're drinking.
"Love.. Thank you for that gift. I didn't know she has a concert tonight. Thank you for giving me the best concert experience." She hugs me from my back.
"You deserve it, Love." I said
I'm gonna miss her. Here I am again, having second thoughts, but I have to do this. I have to do this for myself, and also for us two.
"Love, you have to call me and chat me whenever you can okay? I'm gonna miss you." Gab tighten the hug after saying that.
"Of course, Love. You don't have to say that." I turned around and met her gaze.
Her eyes look so sad. I put down our glasses and cupped her face.
"We can do this, hmmm? I'll finish my course quickly so we won't be away for so long." I kissed her temple before engulfing her with a tight hug.
We stayed like that for a while.
"I love you so much Althea. I won't lose you, right?" I was surprised to what she said. I broke our hug.
"You silly hooman." I pinched her nose.
"Why would you lose me? You won't. I'll be forever yours, Gabrielle. Because I love you more than most. I love you so much. And you know that." She pursed a smile before nodding.
"Dance with me, then." She played some music and asked for my hand.
I happily reached for her hand. She then put my hands around her nape while she swiftly wrapped her hands around my waist and pulled my closer.
I rested my chin on her shoulders.
The music started playing.

Sh*t. I cursed to myself.
