I am on my way to canteen and wait for Elle to have lunch with her. Since her parents died, I am her one and only friend. I was with her the whole time. I know her so much.
I often pray for Elle; to have friends. She's been alone for a long time that she can't even afford to enjoy and treat herself. She's lonely. And I promise to be by her side whenever she need me.
I am exactly in front of the elevator going to the canteen and I was shocked to see who's in front of me who just came out of the lift.
It's Elle TOGETHER with Althea! Gabrielle never let anyone use her elevator omfg, except me. "Is she finally having a friend??" I thought and I was smiling like nuts in front of them.
I see Althea was uncomfortably smiling beside my best friend. Meanwhile, Gabrielle didn't know what to do. She's thinking of an excuse, I knew it.
"Uhmm. It's rush hour so I let her in." She defensively said. This time, I chuckled enough to be heard by both of them. Rush hour my ass, she didn't care to her employees since then. This is knew. She's usually not like this. Unless... Well, if that's the case, I would be the happiest!
"What, Gabrielle? I didn't say anything."
"It's fine. Don't be so defensive." I continued while looking at Althea. My words caught Gabrielle off guard. God she's blushing!
"Yahh Sharlyn Kim!" she shouted. I pretend not to hear her and pull Althea's wrist. I leaned closer near her ears, "You know what? I think we'll become good friends. Come on!" Confused as she is, she just nod and let me pull her. Meanwhile, Gabrielle's rolling her eyes at me. She's pissed off and I don't care. Haha!
I invited Althea to join us for lunch but she refused. It's fine because I know she feels uncomfortable with Gabrielle and she said she's having lunch with Aldonn. My God, my super crush in this whole building!
"Hellooooo! Earth to Gabrielle please!" I snap my fingers in front of her face. She's spacing out. She's startled. Wait, was she looking at Aldonn and Althea's direction?? Omg. I shifted my sight to Althea's and I can feel that they are super close to each other.
"My handsome crushieee is over there." I gasp as I drool over Aldonn.
I look back to Gabrielle as I hear her clear her throat.
"Yes SHARLYN??!" She's faking an irritated look. She can fool everyone else but not me. I know her so well. I smirked.
"Hmm... Care to tell me about 'your' sexy-tary? Ooops. I mean, secretary?" I gave her a teasing look. She was taken aback by my out-of-nowhere question. She sipped her juice before looking at me.
"My secretary? She's fine. Why ask?" I smiled naughtily and meet her gaze.
"STOOOOP IT SHARLYN!!"
"What? What am I saying GABRIELLE? Relaaaax!" I was laughing my ass off and she hit me. That hurts. Haha! This human being can be the most fragile but can be the most dangerous one too.
"Ouch! Don't hit me!" I acted like I was seriously hurt and she stopped.
"That's what you get Sharlyn. Stop acting. It doesn't suit you." She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.
"But seriously, I can smell something. Congratulations already!" I grin as I look at her.
"Whatever Lyn."
