Religion

-Significanat variety of way of truth, transcendental phenomena, supreme being, an organized belief system, practices, rituals and symbol design.

a. The belief in and reverance for supernatural powers, regarded as creating and governing the universe.

b. A particular variety of such beliefs, especially when organized into a system of doctrine and practices.

c. A set of beliefs, values, and practices based on teaching of a spiritual leader.

- Shared Collection of transcendental beliefs; assured collection that are pass and held to be meaningful and serious (formal documents: doctrines and establish Cultural practices). Includes, ritual explanation about "why are we here."

Belief system

-the configuration of beliefs which exist in a particular society and culture. The terms may be used to refer ro the entirety of the knowledge and beliefs with in a society, including scientific and technological knowledge. Its has more often been used to describe the patterns of religious beliefs and values, and the central principle underlying these, which gives distinctiveness and coherence to the modes of thoughts within a society or culture.

Spirituality of Religion

-A characteristic of any system of thoughts that affirms the existence of a material reality that is imperceptible to the senses.

Philosophy of Religion

- is a philosophical study of the meaning and nature of religion.

According to the Stanford Encyclopedia of philosophy is, "the philosophical examination of the central themes and concepts involved in religion traditions. It is an ancient discipline, being found in the earliest known manuscripts concerning philosophy, and relates to many other branches of philosophy, including metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics.

The philosophy of religion differ from religious philosophy in that it seeks to discuss questions regarding to the nature of religion as a whole, rather than examining the problems brought forth by a particular belief system. It is designed such that it can carried out dispassionately by those who identify as believers or nonbelievers.

Philosophical or philosophy of Religion is a rational thought, of about religious issues and concern without a presumption of existence of a diety or reliance on acts of faith.

Philosophy derived from the word Philos, means "love" and Sophi, means "wisdom". "Love of Wisdom"; answering problems through reasoning.

Theology

- the study of religious faith, practice and experience: the study of God and God's relation to the world: system of religious beliefs or ideas.

- a theological theory or system, a theology of atonement.

-it communicates bigotry, arrogance and excludivism riddled with impracticality.

-is a critical study of the nature of the divine. It is taught as an academic discipline, typically in universities, seminaries and school of divinity.
