I. INTRODUCTION
BELIEF SYSTEM/WORLD VIEW a particular way of ordering the realities of one's world.
SPIRITUALITY one's integrative view of life. Involves a guess for the meaning and ultimate values of life. Opposed to an instrumentalist/ materialistic attitude.
RELIGION the pursuit of transportation guide by a sacred belief system.
II. The Elements of Religion(s):
1. Reflects an effort to evaluate their whole self to a higher dimension of existence.
2. A framework of transcendent belief.
3. Text of scripture (Bible, Quran, etc.)
4. Rituals (baptism, way of worship, ceremony etc.)
5. Sacred spaces (eg. Church, temple, mosque, synagogue)
