Why her?

A/N welcome to the first cringe shot

It has been a month. A month since Draco Malfoy got with Hermione Granger. A month since Harry's best friend stole his crush of four years.

It was the 8th year at hogwarts. The year he finally understood his feelings for the blond. It all clicked together the teasing, the comebacks, the urge to impress him and these feelings were not new. He realized it after the first few months at hogwarts but when he finally got the bravery to confess, someone already beat him to it.

There he was, standing dumbstruck in the hallway just viewing his crush making out with another. But what hurt more is that this other person was none other than Hermione; his best friend whom he trusted, who was always there for him, who understood him better than anyone else making out with his crush.

For a month he watched in pain as his best friend and his secret love for more than 4 years made out, called eachother cute pet names and hugged. That was the worst. When they hugged. Hermione snuggling close to Draco while he kissed her forehead, holding her. It pained Harry like thousands of blades cutting through his heart.

For months he was crying in the boy's dormitories while Ron comforted him (yes accepting Ron).

"It's not fair, I should the one to kiss and hug him! I saved him from the fire. I love him, she doesn't", he sobbed uncontrollably while ron sat down on the cold floor beside him.

"Harry, mate, you have to let go of him, there is nothing you can do about it", Ron  told him. This was going on for a  month now.

Harry couldn't help but feel extremely jealous. Hermione was their friend. He knew it was wrong but he couldn't help but be cold to her and Draco. He would be rude to him and make snarky comments like "get a room" or "can't live two seconds without snogging your girlfriend, Malfoy?" These would mostly end in confrontations from either Draco or Hermione. He tried to act calm and cool as if he didn't care, but he did.

It was starting to get better. Hermione wasn't so inlove with Draco anymore. She was getting distant and payed more attention to Parkinson. Can you imagine? Her cheating on a guy like Draco. He was perfect and she had eyes for Parkinson instead. But whenever there is the bad there is always the good, the good in this situation was if this carries on Draco will probably break up with her which will give Harry a chance to be with Draco. He just held on to that thought.

Soon after it was happening. Draco and Hermione kept getting into heated arguments. Hermione kept distancing herself from Draco till the day came.

This week they were all going to Hogsmeade for the weekend and of course with the couple. Blaise, Ron, Harry and Draco went off to Honeydukes to get candy leaving behind Pansy and Hermione.

"I'm sorry for what I will do now but I just can't keep it in anymore"

"Granger, Wha-" Pansy was cut off with a pair of lips smashing into hers. The boys were watching from the side of Honeydukes. Draco had tears in his eyes. He knew this would end this way but it still hurt him.

"You know you could have just told me"
Draco said as he walked away

Hey guys so basically here is my first cringe shot. Its getting pretty long and I can't think of an ending so I will continue it next time. I really need y'all to send me requests. If you have ideas or suggestions on how to improve writing please share. Tell me if this sucked or not.
