A/N Hello!! I havent proof read this story so i will apoligize before hand for all the mistake in this story. This was just a story that came into my head that i needed to get out. So please tell me what you think of this story and if you like it i can write another part.
One week. Just one more week on the contract with Serkan.That's all I have. Just one more week until Selin and Ferit get married and I lose my love. I would have never imagined two months ago that I Eda Yildiz was going to be in love with Serkan Bolat. The man that I hated so much, who had stopped me from graduating University and then getting my dream job as a landscaper in Italy. But now instead of doing that here I was in Istanbul working in Art Life Architecture with a fake fiance that i used to hate but now love. It's strange what destiny has in store for you in life.
I now have opportunities that i never could have imagined. I have my own project that I myself lead and a man that I love so much but he doesn't love me back. But that's just what love is, it's unpredictable.
I sat at the breakfast table with the girls and Erdam waiting for Serkan to pick me up for work like he does all mornings and as the saying goes "speak of the devil and he shall appear",Serkan showed up like all mornings to take me to work.
"Good morning Girls and Erdam. The door was open so I showed myself in, I hoped I hadn't overstepped" said Serkan.
"No No son, you haven't overstepped at all, this is your house as well. Come and sit with us and eat breakfast" said Ayfer Hala to Serkan.
" Thank you but i have already eaten" said Serkan
"Good morning brother-in-law, you look really handsome, anything special planned today?" said Melo, giving him an approving look .
It was true, Serkan looked extra handsome today in fact he was wearing a three piece suit that was all in black, it looked similar to what he was wearing when i saw him for the first time at the graduation ceremony. God he was hot and he knew it too. He had an arrogant smile on his face while looking down on me. It was like he knew how much it was affecting me.
" We have a meeting today with an important client who is an old family friend too. They were close friends with my grandparents. We are going to host a party tonight for our client at our ranch all of you are invited"
"I hope it all goes well and that you get your deal and thank you for the invite we will try to come" said Ayfer
"Thank you, are you ready to go Eda"
" Yeah, I'm ready, let's go."
Serkan held out a hand to help me get up. We said goodbye to everyone and proceeded towards the car while still holding hands. In the beginning we had to force our self to hold hands but now it came naturally.
In the car on the way to work I couldn't stop looking at him. He really looked handsome. but i have to stop myself from looking at him. He doesn't belong to me and in a week's time I have to leave him and everyone else.
We arrive at the office and see that it's a complete chaos, people running around completing last minute things on the presentation.
Two months ago this would have pissed Serkan off but now he just stood there quiet watching the chaos and the only thing he did was clearing his throat and then giving everyone meaningful looks then walking away towards his office. I proceeded towards my desk and leaned over towards Burca who had the desk next towards me.
"What's happening Burca? I know we have a new client but it has never been this chaotic since i started"
"Actually Eda, this isn't a new client per se, we have worked with this client before on a small project but this project is much bigger and has been in the making for a year and hasn't been done because the client has had some health problems so it has been on hold until now." And when Burca was done with the statement Serkan,Engin,Selin and Alptekin Sir came out of the office and stood in front of the group. It was strange that Altekin Sir was here but I guess he was going to be involved with this project because the client was a family friend.
"Listen up everyone as you all know we are going to commence our projects with Sans Holding. We worked really hard on that project and unfortunately it didn't happen because of some sad circumstances. But we have a chance now to improve the project. I want all of you to do your best, we have now room for mistakes on this project" Said Serkan and gave everyone a stern look, he gave me a grave look and then made a hand gesture that told everyone to get back to work and then he and his father went upstairs towards his office.
What was with the look he gave me, like I was going to mess up the deal I turned back towards my desk. Sans Holding, it sounded so familiar, where had i heard it before, a strange feeling began to rise inside me. It felt like the wall of security around my life was crumbling down but the feeling was fleeting and as quick as it came it also went away. I looked down and started focusing on my eco friendly hotel project I had with Ms Sidan. I started to draw up some ideas of one of the teresses. i had no idea how time flew away because when i looked up i saw that the atmosphere had changed in the office. I nudged Burca on the arm and asked" what's happening, why is everyone on edge?"
Burca leaned towards and whispered " The client is in the meeting room, they are looking at the presentation, I hope everything goes well. This project will take us to another different level. Serkan Bey has worked really hard for this project"
After 30 minutes the door to the meeting room opened up and saw Engin,Selin,Leyla,Alptekin sir and some people that i didn't recognized and then i saw Serkan talking to an older woman, i couldn't really see her face but then i heard Serkan saying to the women" Mam i will introduced you to my fiance, she is currently working on another project that's why she wasn't with us at the meeting" and everyone proceed towards me. I stood up from my seat and looked forward. That's when I saw her, Serkans was disrupting the view before but now I could see her clearly. The whole crew stood before me but I didn't care, my focus was on the women and nothing else. I could faintly hear Serkan introducing us but the women and me were just staring at each other. I felt Serkan touching my arm nudging me to say anything, I looked away from the women and looked at Serkan. He had a slightly worried and angry look on his face. What was I going to say to Serkan and with that I passed out.
