"They're what?!"

Mark shouted, as Yamaguchi regathered himself. The anxious teen gulped nervously, before repeating,

"The Elitists are at the coast, and are armed with advanced weaponry!"

Yamaguchi shouted, and Mark cursed under his breath, before standing up sharply. Taking in a deep breath before turning to Ace,

"How the hell could they have figured out our location?!"

Mark boomed as he watched Ace expectantly. The named hacker flipped switches, and inputted different codes into the keyboard. Trying desperately to fix the predicament they were in,

"I-I don't know, I'm doing everything in my power to get us off of their radar."

Ace panicked as he paced around the room, and Mark glared out of the ship's large window. Observing the opponents lined up on the shore, with their guns high and ready,

"Ace-"

Mark muttered, and the dark haired male looked up at the Commander as he slowly ceased his actions,

"Yes, sir?"

He questioned, and Mark hadn't budged an inch. He remained in that same spot, watching the opponents intently,

"Just leave it. They already know our location anyways. It wouldn't do much to take us off their radar now if they already have a visual on us."

Mark ordered, and Ace nodded his head,

"Of course sir. Should we commence with the plan?"

Ace inquired, and a stern expression crossed Mark's features as his eyebrows knitted together,

This is it.

What we've all been preparing for relentlessly,

"Yes, inform everyone on the ship to ready up now. We'll be leaving shortly!"

Mark ordered, and Ace obeyed his commands, and brought the mic to his lips. Being sure to switch it on before relaying Mark's orders to everyone via the intercom,

"We have a code red! I repeat, code red! All soldiers please dress accordingly, and report to the deck for further instructions."

Ace spoke, his voice echoing along the boat's corridors, and after having been made aware of the situation. You shot up from your bed, and flew to your closet before hastily putting on your combat suit.

You pulled on your black cargo pants, and slung your coat over your shoulders. In all honesty, you were terrified. Scared for your friends, scared for your future, and scared for humanity.

No one knew what the outcome would be, anything could happen, but, make no mistake. You guys were going to fight as best as you could to protect the future of humanity.

After lacing up your boots, you stood up promptly, and approached the door steadily. You could hear a commotion beyond the door, and faintly, the moaning pipes of the ship lingered in the background. It was a sound you'd grown all too accustomed to.

A lump formed in the back of your throat, and you could feel the pit in your stomach deepen.
