I parked my car in the driveway of the lunch place and walked out of my car grabbing my bag
I pushed the lunch place door making a ding sound inside
"Martina!" Someone said my name making my head snap to the right
There's was Valentina sitting down at our usual spot waving at me
I smiled and make my way to her

"Hey"I said hugging her and we sat down
"Hey! Congratulations !!" She said with a big smile on her face and I giggled
Valentina and I are friends since we have 2 years, she was the sister that I never had
Her mom and mine are best friends so we literally grow up together, we will were partner in crime
You never saw one of us without saw the other one beside her

"There, I grabbed a fresh coke for you" she said and I smiled thanked her
"So how was the approval?" She said taking a sip of her fresh ice tea
"Stressful, so damn stressful god" I said and she chuckled
"And Mr.Mendes?" She asked wriggling her eyebrows at me smirking and I rolled my eyes playfully
"What Mr.Mendes?" I said raising a eyebrow and she rolled her eyes playfully

"You exactly know what Mr.Mendes, don't play this game with me Martina" she said as I take a sip of my drink
"Well, he yell a lot" I started and she groaned
"Come on!!" She said and I laughed
"No seriously, he's not that bad, he's very attractive and very intimidating, I swear I felt like you know when you are in the principal office?" I asked her and she nodded giggling
"I felt exactly the same" I said chuckling and she laughed

"What did he ask you while your approval?" She asked putting her head in the palm of her hand
"The casual questions you know? Then he asked me between English and Spanish which one would I have choose, I find this quickly weird like question but anyway" I said shrugging
"I answered him that I will choose Spanish because that's logic then he said and what I'm gonna said it's his term, not mine" i said before take a sip of my drink
"So you're telling me that I don't have any logic? And when he said that Val, te lo prometo , I thought it was over for me" I said and she laughed

"Don't laugh it's not funny!! If you only saw his face, my god" I said and she laughed even more
"Tomorrow I have my first day, I'm not ready to wake up everyday at 6 am" I said putting my head in my hands
"Don't worry it will be oka-" she started but be interrupted by the rings of my phone
"I'm sorry" I said picking my phone from my bag and i frowned at the ID caller
"Who's this?" Valentina asked me concerned

"I don't know it's a masked number" I said before answer it
"Hello?"
"Hello Miss Stoessel ?" I recognized Veronica voice through my phone
"Oh hey Veronica" i said under Valentina's confuse gaze
"It's a employee of Mr.Mendes" I mouthed her and she nodded
"Do I bother you right now?" She asked me
"No no why?" I asked and she released a sigh

"Mr.Mendes want you to be here" she said and my eyes go wide open
"I'm sorry, what? He want me to be here? Why?" I said totally confused
"I don't know he just said that he want you to be here in 15 minutes" she said and my eyes opened wide
"VERONICA!!" I here his voice yell through the phone
"O-okay i will try to be here quick as I can" I said before hang up
"What's up?" Valentina asked me and I sighed
"He want me to be back in 15 minutes" I said rubbing my temples

"Go now or you will be late!! I call you tonight" she said and kiss my cheek
"Okay see you tonight" I said before grab my bag and walked out of the lunch place
"What the fuck?!" I mumbled to myself when I get inside my car
"He want me to be here but it's 20 minutes of ride, and how he yell on everyone for nothing, goddamn" I said rubbing my temples
I start to drive back to the Mendes building a little bit confused and angry

I pulled my car on the drive way and walk inside the building
"He's still at his office" Veronica said when she saw me walk inside
I smiled at her and walk inside the elevator
I pushed the top button and the elevator door closed
