The moon.I awake to the sight of the moon directly above me.For some reason I feel an odd annoyance towards the moon but pay it no mind. I slowly get up from the floor and pet Luna who seemingly was awake before me.

Noticing the quest I make my way out of the clearing and into the densely packed forest and immediately run into a group of wolves.With a quick observe I learned they were simple grey wolves with low stats and an equally low level.I summon my scythe and fire off a bolt straight into the snout of the nearest wolf.The wolf recoiled as I ran up to it with my scythe and decapitated it.The other wolves growled at me as one bit into me.Oddly it didn't hurt that much but it did anger me enough for me to slam my scythe into its lungs and kick it away so it could die painfully.I then fired a bolt into the eye of a wolf forcing it into the ground from the pain as I stab another wolf that tried to bite me.The wolf still managed to bite me but my scythe was lodged far enough into the beast that I could rip it off of me and throw it onto the floor where I stomped on it.I was expecting to crack its skull or just hurt it but instead its head was completely crushed.

Ignoring the pop up I finish off the last wolf that was suffering from the eye shot.After doing so I noticed the wolves didn't drop anything but that's when I realized how this system works.You can't see your own health, mana is something you gotta figure out on your own, and beasts don't just drop gear because you beat them.

Me-"Son of a bitch they made it with some realism in mind."I mumble with disdain."Though that doesn't explain why i'm so strong.I'll figure that out later.I got a village to find."I state as I start floating upwards.

I had never flown before so it felt really weird and unnatural as I took off above the treeline.Only to come crashing down again because someone ran into me and knocked me down.I get up angrily and was met with a blonde haired teen sitting opposite of me rubbing her head.I recognize who she was but to make sure I use observe.

Description: The Ordinary Magician.Marisa is a magician that has made the forest her home. While kind she is not a push over and will crush anyone in her way. Also she's an avid theif.

Me-"Watch where you're going lady!"I yell at her angry at her and the system being useless.

Marisa-"Me?!Your the one that popped up out of nowhere!"

Me-"Well i'm sorry I decided to start flying!How was I suppose to know someone would be flying just above the treeline in the middle of the night like an idiot?!"

Marisa looks at me angrily and started reaching for her mini hakkero so I summon out my scythe as my glare strengthens.Before she grabs her device she sighs heavily and starts moving her hand away from the device.My glare softens but I don't unequip my scythe.

Marisa-"Look we got off on the wrong foot here Ze~."She says as she holds out her hand."I'm Marisa Kirisame an ordinary magician."She says with a large smile.I get thrown off by the sudden one eighty.

Me-"Unequips scythe Yeah I guess we did.The names Y/n L/n."I state as I shake her hand."But i'm not apologizing."

Marisa-"Shrugs Me neither.Though I gotta ask, who are you?"I raise my brow."Not many people venture into this forest and not many know how to fly.The only people that i've seen fly are youkai and my friend.So who are you Ze~?"

Me-"Doesn't matter really."I state as I yawn."I'm no one special and I plan to keep it that way for as long as possible.Though if you want something more concrete I plan to explore this world."I spoke boredly. "Now if you excuse me I got village to find."I state as I walk past her.

Marisa-"Wait."I turn my head to her annoyed."You're going the wrong way. The village is in that direction."

I grumble in annoyance as I begin walking the way I came.As I walked I felt someone was watching me for the longest time.Out of habit I flip off the figure in the direction I feel them staring at me from before continuing on my path.

Me-'Fucking hell i'm stupid.'I think as I once again float upwards and start flying towards the direction of the village.After a few minutes of flight I saw light ahead of me and decided to touch down and walk the rest of the way as not to scare the locals.

Upon getting close to the village I notice two guards standing attention at the gate.Using observe I only got their names because system is dumb.I then step out of the woods and immediately gain the attention of the guards.Both of them holds their spears in combat ready positions and one of them calls out to me.

Teku-"Stop right there!State your business with the village!Are you human or youkai?!"He asks as one of his eyes glow a dim blue.

Me-"I seek shelter and I am not a youkai."I speak up."I woke up in the forest and have been looking for a safe place since."I explain nonchalantly.

Teku-"And what is that thing wrapped around your neck?!"

Me-"Luna is my familiar."Once said the two guards looked to each other and Teku nodded as the glow faded.

Teku-"I have judged that you speak the truth magician.You may enter the village."He spoke in a calmer tone as they both returned to more casual stances.

Me-"Thank you."I speak in my usual tired tone.

Teku-"There is no need to thank this guard.I am only doing my job."He spoke as I walked towards the gate.

I nod to the man as I walk in and instantly get my rewards from the quest.I decided now was a good time to check my stats as I walk the empty streets of the village looking for some form of inn.

Happy with my stats I add three to luck, five to intelligence, and two to strength before closing the menu and focusing on my search.After a few minutes I finally found an inn and entered the small building.I asked the dude at the desk how many days one of my coins would get me and got a nice response of about a week.So I thank the guy and give him the coin before heading upstairs to my room and cash in for the night.

[DONE!Hey all Gorn here, with a small notice.I've decided i'm not gonna push myself to get atleast 2000 words in for this story in particular.There is a lot more numbers and things I gotta think up for this story so it'll make this story longer and harder to make and I don't want to force you to wait around for an upload that may or may not happen this month.You know?

With that being said what do you think of the reduced GAMER influence?Did I reduce it too much or is this fine?Should I add more GAMER stuff or leave it as is?Also should I start the Scarlet Mist Incident now or hold off for a chapter or two?It is up to y'all m8s.
