Alone

Chapter 12

I finished the last of my homework. I looked at the time 6:30?! Zane was coming to pick me up at 7. I got a text from Zane. 'wear something formal' He sad and I replied 'K' I wore a black dress with white poka dots that looked like the night sky. I wore black combat boots and put my hair in a pony tail. The door bell rung and my mum's shuffling feet were heard. A small grunt was heard and the door was closed.

"Mia Come down Zane's here" I opened the door to my room finding Aph leaving the bathroom. She showed me a thumbs up. I gave her a small smile and I went downstairs. Zane was in a suit. Cute. I reached the bottom stair and my mum gave us a lecture about no kissing and keeping our hands to ourselves. We nodded awkwardly.

After that we quickly left the house and Zane opened the door to his car. (We are 16 we can drive a car. Btw I checked it. Yes they can drive) I sat in the passenger seat and he went to sit in the driver seat. He started the car and we drove off.

We drove in silence till he picked p a conversation. "you ok?" He said and kept his eyes on the road. "Yeah." I sat there awkwardly looking at the road. "So" He began. "Did you get that science project" (Im not good at conversations) "yeah." I looked at him. I finally noticed he had his mask down. He had freckles over his cheeks crossing over his nose. It was cute.

We arrived at a restaurant named 'Blue Diamond.' We walked in and were seated in front of the aquarium. The place looked fancy. "Woah" I said in awe. I've never been to a place like this. Zane chuckled. A waiter came in and gave us both a menu. I read through and finally decided to order chicken soup (If you don't like it choose something else).

As we waited for the food we talked about out lives and what ever (You may notice I've never been on a date before so I don't know what to say in this situation). Our food finally came and we ate and watched the fish in the aquarium next to us.

We finished the food and a waiter came and took our plates away.  Zane paid and we left. The carnival was in town tonight so we went in. We bought some candy floss and then we rode the Ferris Wheel. I sat near the window watching the parking lot below us.

I felt a hand around my body and looked over at Zane. He had his arm around my shoulders and was looking out the front window. I smiled a little and put my head on his shoulder looking at the full moon in front of us. The wheel finally came down and we stepped out.

We walk back to Zane's car. we both get in and start our drive back to my house. My street finally comes into view and I get out. he gets put too and walks me up the drive a bit. "I had fun tonight" he says and he blushes a bit.

I nodded " me too" He then leaned down and KISSED ME. OMI I was having a mini heart attack there and then. I kissed back and we stood there IN MY DRIVEWAY kissing. I'm over exaggerating myself here. Then a flip flop crashed between us. I broke our little kiss and looked back at the house.

My mum was shaking her other chacla at us. We both sweat dropped. I looked back at him and he gave me a small peck on the cheek then running for his life at the same time my mum can running out the door.

Zane hopped in his car and drove off I snuck inside the house. "NO you don't" I spun around. "I said no KISSING" I stood there." But mum" She death stared me "Bed now" I went off to bed. I changed into my pjs. "Sis?" I looked around.

I saw Aph in her pjs "Yeah?" she looked sleepy. " What happened mum is pissed." I blushed bright red. She wiggled her eyebrows "You kissed Zane~" I blushed brighter. "N-no!" She wiggled here eyebrows more "maybe" She leaned in further. "Yes fine I might have kissed Zane!"

She squealed. "Aphmau, will you shut up" mum grumbled from downstairs. Aphmau said something under breath I didnt hear what she said and went back to her room. I went into mine and changed. I looked out of the window that was right next to my bed. A few streets down a light was shown a figure was in the window. 

A werewolf. I shrugged it off. I looked over at the plushie I had. Aaron gave it t me when I was seven. When I was seven.......

Flashback

I sat in 'our' cave Melissa was off at boarding school and ein hated my guts still. dad was working on this forever potion thing. Its supposed to be in effect forever. It was illegal, Yes, but I didnt care. He was working with Aaron's dad , some weird haired woman and a Ro'Meave? 

When we were still four he tested the first one on my sister. Making her forever forget her father and sister. We left the next day. small footsteps where heard from outside the cave. I looked up from my corner. Aaron was there with a small gift? 

"hello!" He said I smiled. "hello" I said in a small voice. He walked up and gave me the present. "happy birthday!" I smiled. He was the only one who remembered my seventh birthday. I took the wrapped box and opened it slowly. 

A small plush was inside. It was a purple fox. I stood up and hugged him. He hugged back. "Thank you" I said and he patted my head. "No worries peanut."  I looked at him. "I am not a peanut"  He laughed as i chased him out of the cave.
